Acer EX2510 : Overclock (ok) G-SYNC (no)

Hello everyone,

I had the idea to overclock my pc monitor (EX2510 144Hz) I went up in 5Hz increments, I got up to 165Hz.
I tested my new settings at "CSGO" games, everything worked fine except my new 165Hz frequency was not applied, so I did some research on google and came across this thread on reddit

I used CRU to remove the 1920x180 60Hz resolution and add the new 1920x1080 165Hz.
I tested again on CSGO, everything worked.
After my problem solved, I tested the GSYNC with my new 165Hz frequency and the screen turns off.
Can G-sync be used with an overclocked monitor? If so, do you know the process? Thank you

Try to also adjust the VRR range in CRU. It's probably 48-144, so change it to 48-165,

Editing FreeSync/VRR ranges:
For DisplayPort monitors, use the "Edit..." button at the top to edit the "V rate" under range limits, and make sure "Include if slot available" is checked.
For HDMI FreeSync, edit the "FreeSync range" data block in the CTA-861 extension block.
For HDMI 2.1 VRR, edit the "HDMI 2.1 support" data block in the CTA-861 extension block.

I had read it on the topic and tested it, but it does not work
