Lenovo Legion Y540's display overclocked to 100Hz

Hello, I had a Y540 with i5 9th gen and GTX 1650 with a 60Hz display for about a year now. Today I tried to overclock it's display, and to my surprise it went up to a 100Hz.
I have never seen a monitor being capable of doing something like that. Usually it's 74Hz max for 60Hz displays.
I'm just curious if anybody else has tried this and succeeded. Also asking about any permanent damage that can happen because of this overclocking.
