VG259QM 280hz not working

So I have this VG259QM, and when I first used it some months ago I had no trouble using its 280hz nor any other settings. But recently I did a clean Windows install, and so I did the same thing to have 280hz available, but this time the monitor never actually changed to 280, every time I select 280hz in its OSD, the monitor just stays ate 240hz, I tried just selecting 270hz, with just ELMB, ELMB-Sync, just Adaptive Sync, also CRU doesn't let me create any 280hz resolutions (it did let me do it before windows reinstall).
So I am running out of ideas, the last thing I would like to do is reinstall Windows again and see. My firmware is MCM105 btw. I appreciate any help.

Edit: ended up getting it to work, it was the 10-bit color preventing the 280hz, after changing to 8bit I got it working fine.

Check your nvidia control panel color settings under the resolution area & make sure you're not using HDR. Or try resetting the monitor itself from the OSD.

Im having trouble getting my monitor to OC to 280Hz. On my desktop its set to 280 and can confirm it via the OSD and windows setting. But when starting a game, specfically stretched 4:3 1280x1024 CSGO, it reverts back to native 240Hz. I've used CRU to only allow for 1920x1080,1600x1024, and 1280x1024 @ 280Hz, but doesn't work? Anyone have a smiliar experience???
