Grounding PC case

This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

Grounding PC case
Im see that guide https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9esauzfuDiQ&t=609s, this guy says that you must strip all the contacts from the case to the motherboard (there are 9 of them), that is, all 9 screws must drain current to the case. Is it correct? I think it would be correct to use 8 non-conducting racks and only one rack at the bottom of the board that conducts current. But he claims that all 9 bolts must conduct current to the case. I always paid attention to the fact that the case is always supplied with 1 gold stock and all the other regular ones (black)

It's actually interesting that you have only one gold stand-off screw. I just checked mine, and all of them are black! Did you try to use the golden one instead of one of the blacks?

Is this the WinkliYT guy? I don't really trust him. He seems to be someone who believes more in placebos and claims to have fixed something without actually making any real improvements. For instance, he asserted that he fixed Valorant's hit registration with RAM timings.
