LG 27GR83Q-B

Picked up two LG 27GR83Q-Bs on the weekend and decided to use HDMI 2.1 since my 3090 has two HDMI ports rather than the typical one and these monitors have full bandwidth 2.1 ports.

I noticed that they are only detected as verified G-SYNC compatible when using DisplayPort. Anyone know why this is? I noticed on the list of G-SYNC Compatible verified displays that Nvidia only lists this monitor as having VRR over DisplayPort, but it supports it just fine on HDMI as well.

I know it doesn't matter, I just enabled G-SYNC anyways but I'm just curious as to why Nvidia has omitted HDMI from the verification on this monitor, especially since HDMI 2.1 is better than DisplayPort 1.4 because to get 10-bit 2560 x 1440 @ 240 Hz you need HDMI 2.1 or you have to use DSC (which I know is billed as "visually lossless" but why us compression when I don't have to).
