I can't send pictures. You just need to follow the contents of this post carefully. Uninstall all USB devices, then install the mouse and keyboard, and disable all USB branches except the mouse and keyboard. Only keep the basic functions of the mouse and keyboard, and never plug any USB devices into other USB ports.

There is no confirmation from Microsoft. I remember that some software developers mentioned the Windows queue sequence BUG in the early years, but I didn't pay attention to it. I thought it was his placebo. Now I see this post and I know that the problem that has been bothering me is caused by this BUG. If you have the ability, you can submit this BUG to Microsoft. I don't know how to operate

This depends on the insertion sequence of your USB devices. This is a probability problem and the registry cannot have any USB device entries left.

My lag is back.... The USB port queue sequence is a long-standing bug. You can only gamble every time you boot up. The HID item of the mouse in the device manager has a certain chance to change every time you boot up. If it changes, then everything you set up before will become invalid. The input lag is back. I am trying to find the boot with 0 input lag, make a Windows backup, and then restore the system every day when I come back to play games. This is the solution I can think of.

Because obviously the problem is not with the HID devices or the order in which they are connected.
The problem is with the USB drivers, we don't know what exactly happens to them after uninstalling them from the device manager.
Perhaps the priority of the drivers/usb is changing, perhaps the driver threads are switching to another kernel, perhaps a different USB performance state is enabled, perhaps there are changes in the Windows timer.
We don't know for sure.
We need a WPA tool and use it to track changes.

I tried to figure out why the mouse became much more responsive after changing the polling rate or dpi to the same value, but I couldn't.
The only thing I understand is that this problem occurs on all versions of Windows and on Ubuntu (linux). I was unable to reproduce the problem on android 12 and snap 870.

Sems like hardware issue. Not OS.
you can check changes in regedit (after/before change) but im not sure you find some.
I have the same, when i hard-reset my mice (connect-disconnect sound), im feel better responce and speed.
Do you try disable / enable usb options (maybe some hidden) in bios?

If people claim their mouse to be anywhere near responsive while they have hidden devices I can finally call this complete bs. The top posts are about s1mple's desync, some made up Management Engine bug and switching dpi. Whoever has 5 more iq points than the general population please at least put some effort into inproving and solving these issues. I made my own version of W10 22H2 and it brings improvement. Same goes for the settings in my posts. I don't get why there are 1 or 2 useful posts every few months, then the rest is absolute madness.
