s1mple sucks now because of this

Separate area for niche lag issues including unexpected causes and/or electromagnetic interference (ECC = retransmits = lag). Interference (EMI, EMF) of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction latencies like a bad modem connection. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI. Please read this before entering sub-forum.

The Steampowered forum has existed since 2005, possibly even earlier. The topic labeled "desync" has been present since the forum began operating.

I quote back,I have amd system, and I have also tested 2 intel computer and problem persist, and I'm telling you I have that motion blur or called it Juddering in all monitors, in all computers, no matter what resolution I choose, what monitor hertz.

I don't have that thing "moving folders" nope I don't

But I have peek advantage, ferrari peeking + motion blur, juddering.
Also I have desync too.

So I'm talking about my reality not about peoples conclusions, I just found thanks to that guy what I am suffering from the aspect of visual too.

Also sometimes computer feel smooth and I can hear more precise players steps in games like counter strike, and suddenly I can see properly more smooth the screen, horizontally become smoother, less juddering, less motion blur.

So I kindly ask you not to say that this is not input lag, cause I have read a few old post from you in the past, and yes we have all the same sympthomps, call it input lag, dirty electricity, dsync, whatever, but we all suffer the same.

cheer and sorry for my poor grammar ^^,
The conclusions from the guy in the video are flawed and based on nothing but assumptions. I already managed to get what he says it's not working a.k.a Intel ME and all the other things to say "Started" in Events and it makes absolutely no difference, in fact the performance is exactly the same. That youtube video doesn't mean anything either it's recorded at low framerate and we all know monitors are different so nothing there either. Boot time also doesn't matter, PCs nowadays have a lot more going on that what they had in 2014 etc. And about the screen going dark on boot, it's mostly because all manufacturers have customized splash screen for windows loading not to mention the difference between MBR and UEFI boot. Another thing to keep in mind is that if Intel ME is failing to start or malfunctioning the machine shuts down in exactly 30 minutes. Here is proof of stuff "started" :
https://postimg.cc/gallery/sDQd0f4 or https://imgur.com/a/all-running-UrkGwvL
And here is the source about Intel ME behavior when something is wrong: https://community.intel.com/t5/Processo ... -p/1203826
I understand that people want to help but spreading this type of misinformation might make others spend cash for nothing.
But I'm not spreading his video info, I'm not agree 100% with the guy, cause he says that to solve this you need to buy a new computer and a trusthworthy windows license <-- the windows license to me is Bs.
Cause the problem is presented on Consoles, phones, Macintosh, Linux etc,etc

I only say that, the video about the Bruce Willie is what I'm suffering in all games.
Cause I don't have a 1000fps camera to show people what my monitor is outputting

So yeah I'm not spreading miss-information, I only finally found a different way to approaching this "visual lag" cause I always say my screen has motion blur, and I couldn't show to people, now at least with this video I can show people what I feel until I can get borrow a 1000fps camera or buy one

So thanks to the Bruce Willies demo and to this guy that posted it.

Plus, having the symptoms that I already described thousand of times, input lag, delay in audio, peek advantage, people see me first, suddenly my computer become smooth If I uninstall or reinstall something, I have been on this situation since 2009

The first trending topic that ever exist on internet where all started was made in steam forums, the thread named "Cs 1.6 isn't smooth" <-- that was the most polemic thread ever made regards to dirty electricity, peek advantage, dysnc, visual lag, games aren't smooth, delay, everything started there in that thread scalating to Toms Hardware Forums, Nvidia, Github, BlurBusters etc, etc.
People doing test with light bulbs, buying expensive power conditioner, so yeah I have been in this boat since years

And the topic was super famous cause Counter Strike has been very important, in that era games like Fornite didn't exist, etc, etc.

sadly that forums only last till 2012 and it was made early in 2008-2009 , and there is not way to reach to that deleted thread anymore.
I'm not saying that you personally are spreading his BS. The problem here is that the more people see his stuff the more are going to believe him and waste money buying new PC and also spend 200+ on a usb installation stick from Microsoft. That's all i'm saying.
Oh, thanks for clarifying. But leaving aside the guy logic about what is going on which I think is not 100% BS, just 50%. Now what I like of his videos is the dedication he puts on sharing how was before his games demos/records where everything looks smooth

Then compared to nowadays where he has the problems as the majority of us here. visual lag, poor pixel, bad scaling, etc,etc (this is what I really like about its videos, him showing the before/and after, using an external camera.
doccumenting everything.

my game has input delay: the screen melts

phpBB [video]

360hz/400+fps
This is exactly what mine looks like. I'm at 280hz so a bit lower than you but when I'm moving my mouse one enemy becomes 10 and It's hard to see anything. It destroys shooting/recoil too and the enemies appear to stutter around and can't be tracked. How did you record this? If this is recording on the PC then it's nothing to do with the display itself.
record with gf experience bro
It's not a monitor issue then. Timings won't fix that. If GF Experience (naming that makes it sound like one of these new AI virtual girlfriend things XD) is recording it then that is what the GPU is providing to the display. Why the heck would that be?

I'm currently on an AMD 7900XTX so I'm using the AMD recording features. When the game isn't performing right you can see in the recordings they look jittery. When it is performing right then even the 60fps recording looks smooth. It was the same on my previous 3 builds which all used NVidia and GF Experience.

Yes there is dedication but what he is showing is just old games and all the hardware is old so a 2600k is irrelevant in 2024. There is nothing in the videos that makes sence at all. It's pretty clear to me the problem lies within both Windows and our ISPs. It's too much a coincidence. Windows is poorly optimized, has shit running in background and ISPs well just fire up CS2 and look at net_connections_stats, look at all that jitter for a tiny UDP traffic. We all come say fiber is perfect but it's clear it isn't, at least when it comes to UDP traffic. BTW ever since s1mple changed house he has these issues, didn't have them before. I'm pretty sure he already tried a bunch of PCs so what's left? Yeah it's ISP. Unfortunatelly even if you fix floaty mouse (which i did) you will never fix the jitter, why do you think Valve added support for that? They know what's going on. For me it looks like packet throttling, forced or not the traffic is 100% queued. I encounter servers i don't even see the enemy and i'm dead. What i don't get is why don't ISPs just market a gaming connection where they prioritize UDP traffic for more money/month. The speed they offering is useless if stability is bad. That's my point of view.

I have the same thoughts. Internet in my country is rather fast but at the expense of quality. Since one of my friends moved to big city, his game changed completely and for the first time he was complaining about hitreg etc. Before moving that was not a case at all and I was quite jealous how CS:GO works for him.
