Long time problem I've been facing

IMPORTANT:
This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

Re: Long time problem I've been facing
28* of may it arrived, which roughly makes it 2 weeks. Plus the issue was better before that by the change of the ethernet cable, so that makes it around 3 weeks.cursed-gamer wrote: β09 Jun 2024, 12:57For weeks? On 30th of May you posted a comment that your double conversion UPS arrived.
I'll update again if anything changes.
Not really advising anyone to buy a UPS, what worked for me may not work for you. Just sharing my experience.

Re: Long time problem I've been facing
I have a Powerwalker VFI 1000 TG UPS On-Line 1000VA 900W
The ethernet is a PANDUIT cat6 UTP 24AWG
Think about it before proceeding tho, what worked for me may not work for you.
I bought it because my PC is expensive and I wanted protection for it either way.

Interesting message. Tell me, did your mouse sensitivity differ between day and night?
Usually, with dirty electricity, the mouse appears heavy and sticky during the day. At night the mouse feels light and literally glides across the ice.
After purchasing a UPS, do you always have the same feeling (sensitivity) of the mouse?
Re: Long time problem I've been facing
Not only during day and night, sometimes feeling would change even after restarting PC.F1zus wrote: β10 Jun 2024, 18:40Interesting message. Tell me, did your mouse sensitivity differ between day and night?

Mouse has been consistent since buying the UPS.

I have the same situation. If I restart the computer several times, my mouse becomes faster.widow13 wrote: β10 Jun 2024, 19:55Not only during day and night, sometimes feeling would change even after restarting PC.F1zus wrote: β10 Jun 2024, 18:40Interesting message. It's like a roller coaster, every time I turn on the PC I don't know what the mouse will feel like. It's hard to get used to.
I already tried an online voltage stabilizer, but with it the difference in mouse responsiveness remained.
Now I'm going to choose the best UPS based on its filling and buy it for testing.

You can see what mode your UPS is operating in and let me know.widow13 wrote: β10 Jun 2024, 19:55Not only during day and night, sometimes feeling would change even after restarting PC.F1zus wrote: β10 Jun 2024, 18:40Interesting message. Re: Long time problem I've been facing
I think is more related to the UTP cable change than UPS change.. I changed my Ethernet cable and every time i move it or move the router, sensibility changes after 1 hour or 2 on the computer.
Re: Long time problem I've been facing
Best of luck, hope you fix it too.F1zus wrote: β11 Jun 2024, 01:47I have the same situation. I run it on line mode. That's the one you should run it.kirgo1337 wrote: β11 Jun 2024, 02:29You can see what mode your UPS is operating in and let me know.widow13 wrote: β10 Jun 2024, 19:55Not only during day and night, sometimes feeling would change even after restarting PC.F1zus wrote: β10 Jun 2024, 18:40Interesting message.
