Bro you know something but not everything go search for Upstream connections. These are the Head ISPs who has EU Upstreams for Online Gaming. You cant find any ISP who use DE-CIX for Online Gaming

The thing is that Valve and all the other major companies for games are present in Internet Exchange points and the biggest one in Europe is DE-CIX. I don't see what Telia has to do with all this, my provider "Orange Spain" doesn't even have peering with Telia/Arelion. On top of that Sweden does have their own IX points but it's not any comparison with DE-CIX which is the main IX for most providers in Europe. Like how do you think you get such low ping nowadays? You fiber is connected to a hub that is connected to an IX where all games providers are hosted. It's like you are in LAN with them. For example here is my Orange tracert to Valve Madrid server:

Do you see how a local ip is connected straight to valve server? Also this is my AS so you can see my connection has nothing to do with Telia:

You can pretty much find most ISPs use DE-CIX for gaming and streaming, i'm not sure how you got to the opposite conclusion.
