Input lag and Valorant.
Input lag and Valorant.
I record some gameplay of me and you can see how much i suffer and how bad i have it. and that all happens not only in valorant for me but in online games where i try to achieve something...but its hard unplayable in such state. but in the past it was not like this bad and with online gaming here.
here i played only revolver and in some moments you can clearly see that my hits dont even connect or enemies randomly are ice skating and the moving animations of some enemy just dont working the normal way.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDL5zLljA3k
and here 2 more clips and how bad it works here.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-mahIg-GkE
and now guess the rank in which this all happens...

Have network RTT on next time you record, because it seems like ur ping is fluctuating a lot.themagic wrote: ↑02 Jul 2024, 09:16I record some gameplay of me and you can see how much i suffer and how bad i have it. and that all happens not only in valorant for me but in online games where i try to achieve something...but its hard unplayable in such state. but in the past it was not like this bad and with online gaming here.

It seems like you are low rank, because u shoot a lot while moving.
Not gonna deny what you are saying, but you need to fix others things first and you will surely improve a lot.
What is your mouse btw ? dpi/sens/hz ?
Re: Input lag and Valorant.
I had some weird issue in this gameplay with the audio and i could not hear where enemy come from. but this just another issue...
you had something like this with the earspeakers ? like the right gets messed with the left ear and you cant hear where enemy comes from ?
or other thing when tried some things with audio on my pc and the back panel where the audio is...the hitreg got better for some time. maybe im crazy but i believe that it has something all to do with audio. also when talk about hireg and desync.
i have no rly idea what that all is but something changed here when i tried some things with audio and sound.
my opinion is that audiophiles who fight same problems and similar issues are not that wrong. cause this all input lag affects the sound and audio quality and i noticed this all myself.

There is a lot of room for improvement in crosshair placement alone.widow13 wrote: ↑02 Jul 2024, 13:50Have network RTT on next time you record, because it seems like ur ping is fluctuating a lot.themagic wrote: ↑02 Jul 2024, 09:16I record some gameplay of me and you can see how much i suffer and how bad i have it. and that all happens not only in valorant for me but in online games where i try to achieve something...but its hard unplayable in such state. but in the past it was not like this bad and with online gaming here.

i know my crosshair placement is not good at some times and moments. but this not the topic im talk about.Kipperii wrote: ↑03 Jul 2024, 02:45There is a lot of room for improvement in crosshair placement alone.widow13 wrote: ↑02 Jul 2024, 13:50Have network RTT on next time you record, because it seems like ur ping is fluctuating a lot.themagic wrote: ↑02 Jul 2024, 09:16I record some gameplay of me and you can see how much i suffer and how bad i have it. and that all happens not only in valorant for me but in online games where i try to achieve something...but its hard unplayable in such state. but in the past it was not like this bad and with online gaming here.

but compare my gameplay to this ones...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzvpAFBlPHs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZ60-T8WFAw
and watch and notice how clean the enemy movements are and slow...there no ice skating happens.
i am playing this game at 5x speed if comapre to this 2 clips. and that how it feels with that problem.
you can see this difference ?
or im crazy ?
or compare with this clip
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N45ZYLjuT1o
idk why i cant post full youtube links but you know how it works.
just watch at the movements and how easy the hitreg works for some people.
and that is completely different game from that what i have here. you can easy see that all and this difference.
and this one where a guy makes 40 / 0 in deathmatch with such low fps and drops. but enemies are moving different for him and he can easy track and hitreg.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C55iUvvNJok
i think that the best proof and you will see the difference clearly if compare with my deathmatch clips.

I understand because I did have input lag issues, but I did hit immortal 3 multiple times on multiple accounts even with the issues.

Re: Input lag and Valorant.
I suffered from this for months after replacing my router's power supply with a linear one. it seemed like my game multiplied in speed everything was faster and I couldn't react to anything even at low elo.
even in single player modes the ia seemed twice as fast something that helped me was buying a case from an old 2000 pc. also my wifi reception was better it reaches places where it didn't before with the switched power supply maybe it has something to do with that.

Why not replace the router power supply with the original one?sanklyy wrote: ↑03 Jul 2024, 12:21I suffered from this for months after replacing my router's power supply with a linear one. it seemed like my game multiplied in speed everything was faster and I couldn't react to anything even at low elo.

Re: Input lag and Valorant.
I did it but the input lag came back. with the linear power supply it is more playable but with the problem that the game runs twice as fast. this happens in any game.Kipperii wrote: ↑03 Jul 2024, 22:48Why not replace the router power supply with the original one?sanklyy wrote: ↑03 Jul 2024, 12:21I suffered from this for months after replacing my router's power supply with a linear one. it seemed like my game multiplied in speed everything was faster and I couldn't react to anything even at low elo.
