Fixed problems with starlink

Post by ZINZIRIO » 04 Aug 2024, 08:26

Hello everyone, how are you? I have commented several times on this forum and from time to time I go to see if anyone has been able to solve their problems in the games...

Luckily I can say that I am one of those who were able to solve them...

I'll tell you very briefly what I did... I had ADSL 5 megabytes and I played the games relatively well. It wasn't perfect, but the games were going very well.

Then they started installing fiber optics in my neighborhood and I had to change ADSL for fiber optics and all my problems began...

They saw me before, they killed me very quickly when I felt the contact of the bullets I was already dead, I didn't even have time to throw myself on the ground or cover myself, hitreg also had problems, in games like Battlefield I felt that everyone saw me on the map and they were shooting at me from everywhere, explosive grenades, everything intensified a lot...

I felt like it was the entire opposing team against me, I couldn't go unnoticed like before...

A friend told me that it could be some interference in my house so I changed my case for a Sentey with SEEC metal which is to retain interferences coming from the air, when I put it on the first 2 games it was much better than before, the mouse much better light etc but the same thing after a while everything got worse again...

A few months passed since I stopped playing because the problem frustrated me a lot and I heard that they are installing starlink all over the world... And I thought mmm if the problem started when I installed the fiber optic maybe the problem is my internet and not my house ... Well, I hired starlink and all my problems were solved...

Now if the others shoot me and I can cover myself before dying, I'm not made of paper or I'm not a player, where I couldn't even move calmly around the map when they were already shooting me everywhere... I have read here several people who hired starlink and it didn't work for them but I've been there for 3 days now and everything still works perfectly...

An adjustment or a change made in my configuration has never taken me so long... I wait for someone use my experience

In terms of weird floaty mouse feeling i fixed it by cable management inside my pc case and bios tweaks + timer resolution and core affinity tweaks too. But problem with ferrari peeks is still here. Enemy is always prefiring and shooting me in the head while still moving.
I also have fiber optic 1000/1000 do you think this is a real reason behind it?

News: All these days that I was playing it was through Wi-Fi because I did not yet have the Ethernet adapter to be able to connect Starlink via CAT8 cable to my PC, yesterday I received the adapter to be able to connect it and I was surprised that in the second game After connecting the cable I felt the mouse and the games were much heavier... I left the Wi-Fi again after noticing this since I realized that when using the Ethernet the PC works worse, what could be causing this phenomenon? I clarify that through Wi-Fi everything continues to work as it did on the first day.

What is your NIC mate? I think the Realtek's cards have some problems(don't know if it's a driver issue or what). I've used to play with a notebook and have the same problem, when i disable the nic in evice manager the mouse feeling changed completely, in game(cs 1.6, csgo) the hit registration became so good.

I have two NIC, one intel i226v and one for PCI-E express ASUS AERION 10G, the same thing happens to me with both NIC

PD: I also clarify that when unplugging the ethernet cable the change is not immediate, I have to wait for a while or turn off the PC for a while so that everything becomes fluid again...

Update: Last night I took out the PCI-E network card and changed it for a sound card and to my surprise when I opened my game the game was much smoother I don't understand what causes my PC to not be so smooth How should I? I have a UPS online and the electrical network in my house is new... The performance in games is still good since I switched to starlink but the mouse and fluidity is a problem that I have not been able to solve

imagine you had ADSL before with no problems and smooth gameplay and after a fiber upgrade you have to switch to starlink which is suprisingly more expensive to maintain xdd

you need to test another nic.
try to buy realtek nic pci-e.

8111h
8125b

if you on i226 instal latest driver (2.1.4.3) and make affinity (specifed core) on 2 core.
