Vsync isnt working in any games

Post by we45rtygh » 01 Sep 2024, 01:39

I am having this problem with Vsync does not work in any games. I have an MSI A11UEK Crosshair Gaming Laptop with Windows 10 and an RTX 3060. Here are the relevant settings. I just reinstalled windows a couple months ago and I have the latest driver. WTH? This laptop also does not claim to have Gsync but I see an option in windows to enable Variable refresh rate. I thought that's what Gsync is and it's not supported on this model?

V-sync not working just sounds really bizarre. Unless extra configuration from your side, V-sync should work as long as the application has proper implementation, which the vast majority of relatively modern applications does. In case in-app V-sync is broken, the control panel V-sync option can disregard app's V-sync option and enforce driver V-sync.

Your panel does support G-sync. Brands marketing and specification listing can sometimes be vague. Try to look up with " your exact model + specifications " and check for reputable sites that provide plain technical specification of the product.
