How to hack Dell S2716DG to reduce overdrive?

I was searching about ghosting issues on the dell S2716DG and found this old thread about a mipi port

Is there anyway to manipulate this port to disable the forced overdrive on the S2716DG? I like the monitor and unfortunately newer monitors give me severe eye strain, but I really want to fix the ghosting issue if I can help it. It's gotten really bad over time somehow.
