Exit your RGB software & CPU monitoring software

Exit your RGB Software & CPU Monitoring Software

While this usually does not cause a stuck-at-60Hz problem, it can add red spikes at www.testufo.com/animation-time-graph that corresponds to TestUFO stutters.

Exit/uninstall inefficient background RGB software (e.g. Aorus Gigabyte's 2023-era RGB software added stutters to games, newer might be better). Switching to different RGB software such as OpenRGB may or may not help.

Also, CPU monitoring software like Task Manager can add stutters to TestUFO. Exit Task Manager to avoid stutters.

  • Exit Task Manager
  • Exit RGB controller software
Then www.testufo.com/animation-time-graph can become much smoother.

- Close all applications & browser tabs to reduce CPU/GPU performance noise that jitters this.
- If you see red spikes once a second, CPU/GPU monitoring software might be intermittently siezing your CPU/GPU.
- If you see red spikes everytime you move mouse or bang keys on keyboard, RGB animating software might be consuming too much CPU/GPU cycles.

RTSS HAL or MSI Afterburner sensor polling (or other sensor polling software like HWiNFO,) also causes this. Some UFO tests even fail to sync.
