BENQ XL2420Z Options Greyed-Out.
Hello i own an BenQ XL2420Z and i cannot change many of the picture settings (those settings are grayed out) like: Low Blue Light, Saturation, Gamma and Hue.
I am using the CS:GO Profile, have tried switching to Gamer1, Gamer2, Gamer3 modes, and i still haven't been able to change those settings, I also tried turning off blur reduction, AMA and Instant Mode.
Any help would be appreciated.

Change mode to FPS2 or FPS1. Afaik FPS1 for CS 1.6 and FPS2 for CS:GO. Is Blur Reduction disabled?

I've also never been able to toggle Hue or Saturation. They are unavailable under all different mixes of settings I've tried. Blur Reduction on and off does nothing.

Did you try connect via D-SUB(VGA) cable?oppo wrote:I've also never been able to toggle Hue or Saturation. They are unavailable under all different mixes of settings I've tried. Blur Reduction on and off does nothing.

Yes, across multiple devices. VGA, DVI and HDMI. All do not have Hue or Saturation available.Q83Ia7ta wrote:Did you try connect via D-SUB(VGA) cable?oppo wrote:I've also never been able to toggle Hue or Saturation. Hue and saturation can only be used in VGA (dsub) mode, but it might work under HDMI, although not sure. I know HDMI unlocks the color formats at least and another option that isn't usually available.
Some options are only available in FPS mode (like black equalizer). Gamma is available in standard mode, but not in the FPS modes (they come with their own gamma).
Saving an option to a preset, as far as I know, treats it like standard mode (so, low blue light and black equalizer aren't available in the gamer profiles).

When i save the profile at a preset (gamer profiles) black eq is available, low blue light and gamma aren't. I wonder what might be the reason

Again, Hue and Saturation won't even become available with D-SUB (VGA). Could there be a difference in these availabilities with the 24 Z and 27 Z?
Can you replicate the steps you took to make Saturation show up? What do you have conneced to the HDMI? Again I have used HDMI on variety of devices. Maybe you somehow switched from one device to another it for some reason it showed up?xakersas wrote:I tried using HDMI, it unlocked Hue and Saturation.Falkentyne wrote:Hue and saturation can only be used in VGA (dsub) mode, but it might work under HDMI, although not sure.
