Much easier to believe you were misconfigured and only getting 60hz.

That or believed you were seeing flicker, got a headache, and decided you could see it.

Or you did the hand-wave thing like we as kids used to in front of CRTs to see the staggered finger shadows, and thought that was flicker.

Claiming you can see 120hz flicker is just ego talking. Nothing gets people to call bullshit like blatant validation seeking.

Anyway, using 144hz over 120hz is just BNS. Bigger Number Syndrome. You're only causing more crosstalk.

It's an astoundingly bold claim - like a "go to your local hospital and submit yourself for human vision research, because apparently you're unlike a few billion others" kind of claim. If only you could see why it is much easier to believe you just screwed up the settings.

I just put the monitor into 120Hz mode and activate ULMB in the OSD. And I see flickering in this very forum.
Obviously the forum having a pretty light theme, it isn't helping.

And no I'm not in 60Hz ULMB mode. If I was, I wouldn't be able to look at the screen for more than a few seconds.

Also I know for a while already that I'm more sensible to flicker than most. But I very much doubt that I'm as extraordinary as you make it out to be.

Okay, now go to Testufo.com and make sure that 120fps doesn't look like 60fps, or that it even shows up at all.

well i can see 60hz flickering, 70hz but only with peripheral vision, and anything above 85hz shows absolutely no flickering.

haste, i dont have any actual statistics but if you can really see 120hz strobing, your flicker sensitivity is probably like in the top 1% or so...
have you ever used a crt?
