Input lag/slow peripherals

IMPORTANT:
This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

Input lag/slow peripherals
Guys I've had this issue for almost 3 years now and it seems to be electricity related as I've found many posts about it. Every time I play, my games feel slow or that they are reacting slow to my movements, even in windows. I used to compete at a really high level of valorant. It changed one day when I noticed that I wasn't hitting the shots I used to. I've changed all my PC specs even monitor from 60 to 360hz, 4060 ti and a 5800x CPU and everything is still the same and it hurts to say that I hit even more shots and played so smoothly on 60hz and a 980 ti. I've heard about everything at this point. I have done every windows tweak, bios, ANYTHING you can think of. This is not something you fix by just changing settings on your computer. It's much more than that. I've seen multiple posts here about people saying that their mouse feels heavy or that the mouse movement is inconsistent and it ticks every box. For now, all I have read is that to fix it permanently, you have to move out and buy a new PC (including peripherals), as everything is 'infected' with your old electricity and might ruin everything new. Unfortunately this is not an option for me at the moment. I don't like to admit it, but I've felt really bad about this. I don't care if I sound stupid because it is important to me and I apologize if I do. I've been thinking about this for the last 3-4 years pretty much everyday almost to the point of CRYING because it really limits my skill. I know how good I used to be and still managed to be with my computer acting up like this. I've had multiple opportunities to shine in the international e-sports community, but this issue completely limited me. Please somebody help me. I can't ask for it enough. I'm actually done, and I know this sounds so dramatic and all, but it's incredibly important to me. Thanks to anyone in advance who reads this and I will be forever grateful if you manage to help me with this. I really mean it, this is affecting my life and the dream I've always wanted. Apologies if my english is hard to understand/read
