I received mine yesterday. (XL2420G) I'll try to review it some time soon (though I'm no pro).

Can you please post pictures of an all white screen and all black screen?ciopenhauer wrote:I received mine yesterday. (XL2420G) I'll try to review it some time soon (though I'm no pro).
And also a shot with a movie with black bars and a gaming sample?

Looking forward to the review too. I personally would like to know if this screen flickers when framerate drops below 30 fps - for example, during loading screens. More and more Asus PG278Q users report about this problem.

I've seen some flicker even at higher FPS. It's not something that bothers me much, and it doesn't seem to happen all the time. It's definitely not there in-game, only during loading screens. I see a lot more loading flicker in SC2 than in CS:GO. I see none during D3 and Crysis 3 loading screens.

I've reviewed the product over at NCIX. Like I said, this is no professional review, just a consumer one. It should be up soon here.

Can you tell us how did you find GSYNC to be with this monitor? Which games did you try?
Also, I'm interested in the monitor because of the active HDMI port - I also play with PlayStation 4 on my current monitor and would like to do so on this one as well. Is it possible to seamlessly switch between the DP port for PC in GSYNC mode and HDMI in classic mode for PS4?
It should be, but still.

Re: BenQ XL2420G Release Info
I played LoL, HOTS, SC2, D3, Crysis 3, CS:GO, Hearthstone. I don't know what to say about G-sync except that it works as advertised. But my own setup gives me good FPS in everything I play (60+), so I can't really say much about lower frame rates, I didn't go through the process of forcing some caps at lower numbers to see how G-sync performs in those situations.
Yes, you can switch the Engine with one touch button on the monitor. It's easy. Would be better if the S-Switch worked with G-sync though.
EDIT: I just tried playing Crysis 3 with FPS capped at 45. It was very smooth. Nothing quite like the fluidity of 144hz + 144 fps, but no stutters or anything annoying.
