In some local pc website I found test claiming that for new graphic cards with only digital connections - without direct vga d-sub connection, there is added significant input lag when using crt monitor by d-sub adapter in gfx card. Whatmore they show that faster lcd (120-144hz, they tested Benq z model) show smaller input lag than crt by d-sub adapter.
Is it true?

comparing clocks at the center of the screen is not a valid way to precisely measuring input lag if the outputs are not sync'd (which is rarely the case).
