Messed up color profiles when switching between monitor and TV

Post by Duskfall » 05 Apr 2025, 06:17

Hello community. My Alienware AW3225QF is connected via DP 1.4 to my graphics card and I also connected my LG C1 TV via HDMI 2.1. I want to be able to switch between the two depending if I want to couch game or sit at the desk. So I calibrated HDR in Windows on both displays and assigned an HDR color profile. The problem is that both color profile interfere with each other. If I used the LG before and the Alienware afterwards it keeps the colorprofile of the LG and vice versa. I would like to have the color profile fixed to the monitor I am currently using without having to switch things manually every time I change the display. Is there any way to do that?

Hi, remove all user profiles from colorcpl.exe

This manager applies *.*icm to the lut nvcp. For each monitor separately.

I often do not clearly state my thoughts. google translate is far from perfect. And in addition to the translator, I myself am mistaken. Do not take me seriously.

I tried it but I can't get my head around it. Do you mind explaining how exactly I have to do that?
