Can PC/GPU cause vertical grey line?

Hi! So I have now had two Dell G2724 - Both monitors have this faint grey line across the entire screen (bottom 1/4 of the monitor).

I have returned both. Before I go huntinig for another monitor. Can my GPU/PC cause these lines? Or is it most likely the new monitors? I don't see the lines on my old (yet broken) monitors.

Secondly. Can someone recommend a good monitor in the 300-350 USD range? I have had little to no success with both Dell and AOC (Had 3 AOC monitors die on me, on another PC + my girlfriends PC - So not related to my current build.)
