Hello guys, I'm a long time lurker, dealing with this crap for long now, but this is the first time I have a strong clue/something specific that can't be called a placebo. I've been having issues with input lag/floaty mouse/not smooth game for years now, I have probably tried every single tweak, optimized every single setting within BIOS, but no luck. There were times CS is responsive and smooth, but very rarely, and it would always come back. After all this, I started suspecting on EMI, which made me feel pretty hopeless about all this.

Finally, today I've discovered a big clue that could help me diagnose the issue. As I said in the title, when I plug in or out ANY USB device, game becomes super smooth and responsive for 30 seconds, after that it slowly comes back. I want to note that all power saving features are turned of, I've deeply checked all that stuff and I'm running KirbyOS on which most of this stuff is already off by default.

Do you guys have anything that could at least lead me in the right direction? Here are my PC specs and perihperals, just in case.

Asrock B660 Pro RS
i7 13700
3060 Ti
Seasonic GX 650
G.Skill DDR4 CL16 3600Mhz 32GB

Razer Deathadder V3 Hyperspeed
Razer Blackshark V2 Hyperspeed
Steelseries APEX Pro
i had the same problem when my internet was worst (vdsl with on wire only) so whenever i disconnected usb and reconnected the game also "lagged shortly" and i had good hitreg. I think its because it was back in "sync" again. This thing was fixed after a technician fixed my internet (vdsl two wire again with much less errors).
So my theory is that your internet is causing many errors with resending packets which cause out of sync and usb plug in and out is fixing it until the (internet) error is too high and you go out of sync again.

Test this, disable and enable your ethernet or change something in the ethernet settings that has no effect like magic packet or arp offloading and see if the hitreg is also good for a few seconds/minutes.

First of all I have a huge new hint - when PSU cable touches the radiator - the lag disappears completely for 10 seconds and then it comes back. I guess this is because it does some kind of discharge? Same as when my PSU is unplugged for few minutes? What could this lead to? Improper grounding?

I just realised that I’m dumb - the cables are isolated, but what discharges it is me touching both the PC and the radiator.

@DMNCS @ @jassine first of all my english is not my native keep that in mind,so when i was building my pc that i am using now i bought a gigabyte motherboard with cpu combo,so i build the pc, the fps was ok it was stable no crashesh no nothing, but when i put my headphones there was buzzing noise,i try every single thing,in a pc shop / repair ,i have a friend who works there and he did not take money for it,it was just to see where was the problem so,after chaning gpu psu ssd anything you think of it,the buzzing noise did not stop,so his friend told me that my outlet is not grounded.so i called a technican he put device in the outlet and told my outlet is grouned.so i bought a new mb and it was fixed.but the whole point is that maybe your outlet is not grounded.so first check if its and if its not you can watch the video i provide, its a how to do it by yourself.0% harm because first you turn off the electricity(what the guy says in the video).keep in my first of all this is maybe your case maybe not, also i dont have clue what i saying but you can check also this what google says.

"A grounded outlet is one with three prongs — two vertical slots, one round hole, or a combination of both. This outlet connects to systems of wiring that are installed and connected together to conduct electricity safely. The outlet will also show a “G” around its ground wire receptor."
