Like many here. I have tried everything possible so far that I can do to fix this desync/input lag. I travel with a good gaming laptop.

And would like to add that THIS PROBLEM EXISTS EVERYWHERE. I have tried in many different countries such as US(home country), UK, Netherlands, Indonesia, Japan etc. that have all electrical and internet connection. It has been same issues and they come about same way.

So only theory left is that either the gaming laptop/peripherals are corrupted forever after connecting it in my home country first or that it is something related to the body theory. Idk how to make sense of all this logically. And yes I already tried many different configuration of PCs and laptops already. All had same issues. Only thing I haven't tried yet is buying completely new setup of everything at a new location.
Hello. Please don't consider this trolling. I'm from Russla, and I happen to understand roughly what you're talking about. I would like to clarify the case when you made different installations and traveled to different locations around the world and you still have a problem. Have you tried many things and even more, but have you tried activating your Windows with an official Microsoft key?. I say this from the position that I have always been using licensed Microsoft software since 2015, and none of my installations have experienced such problems. On the contrary, my friend used a pirated Windows key on his PC, I built the computer for him myself in 2023, after activating the kms server and then rebooting the pc, a cloudy picture appeared and the system did not work as responsively as without activation. To solve this problem, we changed the motherboard and bought a key, unfortunately it is very expensive, but it was worth it. I'm saying this because you've tried the most unconventional methods, but what about the obvious ones?
Once again, this is not trolling, I'm not saying that it will help you specifically. Just sharing my experience. I've never encountered this myself, only on a friend's PC, so I can't imagine how hard it was for you to go all this way, I'm really sorry :(

Laptops I tried came with original windows keys and they get activated automatically for me. Is that not the same thing?

In this case, it's not Windows, unless you're absolutely sure that the laptop was supplied with the original Windows, and not the cmd kms activator. In any case, I wish you success, I really hope that you will cope on this difficult path!

Hello, I have the same problem as you where I am late to fight and get out gunned.

Only play 1080p
fotnite performance all low
fps unlimited

Here are my computers:

Computer 1

280hz monitor acer display port single monitor
CPU 5900x
Ausu Tuf X570 Board
DDR4 32 gig ram
RTX 4070 memory 6x 12gig on OG card
Current Nvidia Driver only

850 watt psu Corsair
windows 11 latest version fresh only video driver and fortnite.
feel lag in fortnite get out gunned everytime late to party sort of

====================================================================================================================

Computer 2

280hz monitor acer display port single monitor
13700k with only p-cores 8 + 8 e-cores
Msi Edge board
DDR4 32 gig ram
also used same card swapped in RTX 4070 memory 6x 12gig on OG card had god fps and frametime but delayed.
Current Nvidia Driver only

feel lag in fortnite get out gunned everytime late to party sort of

also have 6700xt 12gig used in both systems testing fortnite. No lag and I can kill enemies in game or at least have a 50-50 chances
with Driver 22.11.1.0 WHQL
get like 280-390 fps in performance mode on reloaded fortnite plays very smooth and good frametimes.

even tried a rx9070XT but returned because get more constant fps with 6700xt I know crazy but 9070xt is a beast but not for 1080p like I play also no delay like RTX4070.

I think RTX 4070 has Issues of not showing screen fast enough maybe 150ms - 200ms delayed some how not sure how ???

I also have to test more on this.
1080ti
970 GTX
A2000 RTX
R580 AMD

I recently tested a power filter (PF-400USB - TAGA Harmony) that cleans dirty current. The power filter is used by audiophiles to eliminate interferences. Unfortunately it did not help, the problem still persists.

I made a short video to show, how the problem looks like for me.

phpBB [video]

I have right peak advantage and I bait the enemy, I know he will run on me and I am ready but I see everything later.
I have reaction time like a professional rally driver 120-130ms in humanbenchmark,
very good hardware 480 hz / 480 fps / 29ms ping
and in game there is delay like hell, everyone sees me faster and shoots faster.

I come with new information. My latest findings suggest that the issue might lie in the routing, but unfortunately, this will require further testing and trying different internet providers, so the process will be time-consuming.
However, I recently installed a program called GearUp Booster and noticed an improvement in online game responsiveness as well as hit registration. The ping dropped by a few milliseconds, although it doesn't always work perfectly — sometimes it's better, sometimes worse. Nevertheless, there is still a noticeable difference compared to when the program is not running.

Anyway my provider (Orange Polska S.A.) routing is horrible, so it does help me, but my friend have very good routing and the program make 0 difference or increase ping so it won't work the same in every case.

In attachement's you have comparision GearUp Booster on vs off (screenshoots made in windows mode on purpose to show windows bar)

Do I recommend this program?

No.

Sometimes it lowers the ping, other times it increases it — overall, there are significant fluctuations, making it quite unstable. There are also occasional packet losses. I get the impression that the program falsifies statistics, as the ping shown in-game differs from what the program displays.

However, the worst part is the support — it simply doesn't exist. Their Discord server is filled with unanswered questions, tickets are replied to by bots, and to make matters worse, they violate European law, which guarantees the right to a refund within 14 days of purchase. For them you have no right for that.

Generally routing from or to Poland is a long time sad story, now its only a little better, but generally, if you place gaming server to Warszawa (Lagszawa), you can expect troubles with connection routing and quality from other countries.

first of all @Jadzira thanks for keeping your promise and updating the main post on the first page,so i will just shoot in the dark, maybe you try it maybe not,my point is if you can enter your router settings,go in there and there so many tweaks/settings in there to change turn off etc,but first do basic tweaks and mtu 1500,also maybe you said you have tried many pc parts etc,but did you change router ? also i will give another shot to try my settings,i have on board nic realtek 2.5,go msi mode off,and i bind my nic to core 5,so if you want try my settings apply them restart pc ,and then go and test.router settings, nic settings, nic to core 5(i dont use smt) so if you are using it,then you how to bind it i guess.also i show how my mtu is 1500,and i only change it in router settings i think.

Thanks for your reply. I had play with interrupt affinity already. It doesn't influence my hit reg or ping. I have 1500 mtu as default. I had test all the settings as well and it doesn't solve the problem. At the moment my network card is Intel I225-V.

the stuff you show has nothing to do with my settings, but as you wish at least i try.good luck with fixing your problem.
