I recommend watching the official video guide from zowie and you need to use gpu scaling.
And you don't have to select "no scaling" in the nvidia/amd panel.
without checkbox override scaling mode set by games and programs
Be sure to install the monitor driver.

Re: broken scaling cause of heavy/floating mouse, desync, heavy car bug, input lag etc
Hi naporitan, I have an ASUS XG259QNS monitor that runs at 380 Hz. And I have a problem when I want to use Black Bars, I have to check "Override the scaling mode set by games and programs" - although as I understand it should work without a check mark, or does this only apply to BenQ Zowie monitors? By the way, thanks to this topic, I fixed the problem with the floating mouse, since my ASUS XG259QNS initially worked out of the box at "360 Hz" and I did not use the overclocking function because I thought that the additional "20 Hz" would not play a big role. And your topic is that you found the cause of the problems that people have been struggling with for years - that's great! Thank you!
P.S I just have some kind of semi-placebo feeling that because of this checkbox "Override the scaling mode set by games and programs" - my sensitivity seems to increase a little, although everything else is fine.

Yes, maybe it's only zowie at the level of the monitor firmware so realized. I am sincerely glad that my observation helped someone to solve the problem.Foreeq wrote: ↑07 May 2025, 10:38Hi naporitan, I have an ASUS XG259QNS monitor that runs at 380 Hz. Check the box if you are getting the best game experience.

Very favorable offer for true competitive players!XL2546
Re: broken scaling cause of heavy/floating mouse, desync, heavy cur bug, input lag etc
I've been losing my mind with this monitor for a year now. The scaling on this monitor is fucking terrible and there hasn't been a driver update since 2023. The esports pro mode is unuseable in valorant unless u want to play with huge black bars on the top and bottom of your screen so there are no good resolutions to play. Ever since I've used this monitor I feel like I can't aim whether its using 360hz with dsc off, 500hz or 540hz. ULMB makes things look smoother but makes mouse inconsistent. I'd have RMA'd it 6 months ago but I accidentally scratched the screen lol.

You need to activate Esports Pro Mode if you look at the monitor manual, you need to enable DSC and Overclocking for correct scalingBlurWickd wrote: ↑08 May 2025, 15:53I've been losing my mind with this monitor for a year now. to get 540 hertz you need windows 11 latest version Use the correct scaling settings in the NVIDIA panel!
