Which monitor with a high refresh rate would you recommend? Mostly for valorant, I don't mind whether its 24 or 27" or oled etc. I'm looking to replace the pg248qp with something else and I'm curious about your opinion.

Re: broken scaling cause of heavy/floating mouse, desync, heavy car bug, input lag etc
Hi, for the past 3-4 years, I've been struggling with a problem of an unclear and choppy image. It feels like there’s not enough FPS in games, but the FPS is stable at 600-900 depending on the game. I also notice excessive screen shaking when shooting, and the screen blurs too much during turns, making it hard to see anything. It feels like there’s a blur effect applied, along with a sensation of increased recoil in games. I’ve tried all settings and tweaks; four people have configured my BIOS, but nothing has changed. My monitor is a Zowie BenQ XL2546. I live in new buildings with good electricity supply. I’ve changed my PC three times but haven’t changed the monitor. There are no visual problems with the monitor, but all games feel either smooth or as if they’re running at 60 Hz, plus heavy character movement feels sluggish.
CS2 (800 FPS)
Apex (300 FPS)
Warzone (250-290 FPS)
(PC)
R 77800X3D
RTX 4070 TI
DDR5 Team Group T-Create 6000
Gigabyte B650 Gaming X AX V2
(Monitor)
Zowie BenQ XL2546
Dyac Premium
AMA Premium
There is no smooth image in games at all.
Please tell me if there could be a problem with the monitor. Has anyone encountered something similar?

I don't want to take responsibility for it. In this thread I've outlined how to choose the right gaming monitor and use it.

I can only make general recommendationsDanGamesTwitch wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 14:16Hi, for the past 3-4 years, I've been struggling with a problem of an unclear and choppy image. 1 - default bios, xmp - enabled, enable tpm/secure boot (for faceit, vanguard, windows 11, etc)
2 - clean official build of windows 10/11
update the system through windows settings
install drivers from the official website of the motherboard
update the GPU driver, don't use DDU. You just need to run the driver installer and it will remove the previous driver itself.
launch microsoft store and click check for updates and wait for all apps and services to be installed
3 - In nvidia settings you need to select GPU Scaling, Aspect ratio or FullScreen
do not use performance mode in nvidia
4 - Use the resolution in games that your monitor supports.
don't use dyac.
5 - no need to change power plans, no need to use timer resolution, etc.
6 - leave your fps alone don't remove the limit, leave the default 300-400.
disable reflex
7 - plug the mouse into a usb controller that has nothing connected but the mouse
8 - do not install rgb control programs etc.
9 - do not use custom windows and tweaks
Nowadays people like to use shizo tweaks based on tutorials from youtube or take services from tweakers who make things worse.
Re: broken scaling cause of heavy/floating mouse, desync, heavy car bug, input lag etc
the manual was released before 2566k was released.
Your monitor should scale normally with display scaling, and without the override check mark. Your monitor should have a choice between stretched, 1:1, aspect ratio.

if you do the same, you will never have problems with resolution.
Re: broken scaling cause of heavy/floating mouse, desync, heavy car bug, input lag etc
CRU... scaling is performed on the monitor side.....Slender wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 15:10the manual was released before 2566k was released.

Re: broken scaling cause of heavy/floating mouse, desync, heavy car bug, input lag etc
you can not use CRU. But you will not be able to use alt+tab, because your hz will drop from 360 to 144Hz due to HDMI block. Also you will get freezes at system startup and opening of game launchers such as steam and eaapp.naporitan wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 15:11CRU...Slender wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 15:10the manual was released before 2566k was released.

Re: broken scaling cause of heavy/floating mouse, desync, heavy car bug, input lag etc
There are many nuances, for example, high interpolation latency.... the main thing is to achieve that the monitor does not scale the image, and for this you need support at the hardware level of certain resolutionsSlender wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 15:16What's wrong with monitor scaling?naporitan wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 15:11CRU... scaling is performed on the monitor side.....Slender wrote: ↑09 May 2025, 15:10the manual was released before 2566k was released.

add gpu resolution in sre.exe
If you did everything correctly, you won't even be able to select display scaling.
