@daemonjax after i did what you told me,my monitor becomes darker and i think these timings are not good what timings whould you sugest me ?
Dunno. Is the LCD supposed to be able to do 240hz? Assuming yes, what's native resolution? Did you start this process by taking an existing native resolution in CRU and then adjusting it to be 640x480 res? What scaling method are you using on the gpu? Integer? No scaling?

What I always do:
I make custom resolutions at my native resolution at a specific refresh rate I'm targeting (52.000, 60.000, 74.000... whatever) -- then set my _gpu_ to do the scaling in nvcp... either to: "no scaling" (so it gets smaller) or "integer scaling" (perfect scaling but it'll get really pixelated). I'd only use integer scaling for pixel art games, and even then it's a maybe.

I wouldn't do it the way you're trying to do it (a custom res @ 640x480). My lcd panel can't even do 640x480 res.

I wouldn't do it the way you're trying to do it, because it'll look like crap or really really small.

Have you tried making a custom resolution of 1920x1080@240 hz? Did that work? Why not just use that and use your gpu to do integer scaling from 640x480? It'll look better than doing anything else.

So you're using display scaling? Then it's going to do whatever scaling method the display does. Which is why it doesn't look right to you. I think the timing are fine, it's just that's how the display scaler works.

That gpu can do integer scaling. Have you tried it? It's the only way you're going to get a pixel perfect image from that res onto your screen. Well, no scaling will do that too, but it'll be really small. Integer scaling is pixel perfect. Other scaling methods are not going to be pixel perfect, as you noticed.

What game are you trying to play? Maybe actually buy a 640x480 monitor for that 100% retro feel? I wouldn't. Honestly, just make a custom res at native res @ whatever refresh you need, then use integer (or whatever) scaling on your gpu. I don't understand how that would look bad to you.

you dont understand anything, monitor scaling is better then gpu and its faster the resolution is a personal feeling, what ever.
