finally fixed my lag

So my problem was that I had sluggish movements and 240hz didn't look like 240hz, I played on my friend's (he has an account here, jc008titan) PC who did not have this issue, constant smoothness 24/7 and instant response, especially with his 8000hz polling rate mouse. I've tried so many tweaks I've lost count and sleep to fix this shit. The one thing I haven't changed was the power cable, I tried 2 sound cards, usb nic, swapped to NVIDIA, changed RAM. This fucking fixed it. I took the power cable from a 2007 LG Flatron L1919s I had lying around, plugged it into the PSU. I don't have lag anymore! 240hz feels like 240hz, and I'm pretty damn sure this is a permanent fix, 1 hour of gameplay later and no sign of the problem coming back.
