Does anyone know if this is a true fibre optic hdmi 2.1 cable, or is it hybrid?

Hybrid.
True fiber have own power supply as this cable

Thanks, does it matter to use hybrid or true fibre for purpose of lowest latency?

OMG! I changed to a HDMI cable with a shielded ferrite and now the input lag is gone. I've had this input lag problem for 10 years.

Hello, care to share which cable you got?

Oh wow, these are cool. I did not know these existed.

Would be useful to connect my big screen TV in the other room to my gaming PC but without creating an electrical link between the two.

I wonder, do these "pure" fiber cables exist for DisplayPort as well or only HDMI?

Do you have grounding?

Guys please help, which fibre optics cables are you using. Hopefully show me the hdmi2.1 version, not dp1.4.

I can only find verg long length fibre optic cables, I can't find shorter ones.
only dp 2.1 without copper inside
I would like to use hdmi2.1 though because I have the zowie xl2586x+. It has hdmi 2.1 ports, but only dp 1.4.

No point using dp 2.1 cable on a dp 1.4 monitor. Hdmi 2.1 will have the least input lag over dp 1.4.
do your vga support hdmi 2.1?

No grounding. I have a custom resolution of 640*480! I suspect that all digital monitors now have image smoothing at standard resolutions, and this processing will increase input lag.

I am using an HDMI cable that comes with the TV. I now find that the problem lies in the internal design of the monitor. Some monitors may not handle the DP and HDMI interfaces in the same way.

so, cable not helped you? Or you mean you feel changes with it on lower resolution?
