The DP cable I use has input lag. There is no input lag when playing games with HDMI at 640*480 resolution. There is also a slight lag when using HDMI at 1080p resolution, but it is still lower than the DP interface lag. In short, I now suspect that all this is a problem with the monitor.Slender wrote: ↑17 Jul 2025, 09:58so, cable not helped you? Or you mean you feel changes with it on lower resolution?

Re: Longstanding Floaty Aim Feel Issue Fixed with a Fiber Optic DisplayPort Cable...
it was in the monitor all the time. when you use a low resolution, the data flow is several times smaller, and accordingly the inductive interference from your walls has less effect on your cable.Sandy wrote: ↑17 Jul 2025, 10:32The DP cable I use has input lag. From a technical point of view, the delay of using optical fiber cable may be higher because there is an additional photoelectric signal conversion. This is why the two ends of the optical fiber cable cannot be used interchangeably. I guess the problem is that the display interface uses different chip processing paths. HDMI interface equals low latency, and DP interface equals smooth picture.Slender wrote: ↑17 Jul 2025, 10:36it was in the monitor all the time. when you use a low resolution, the data flow is several times smaller, and accordingly the inductive interference from your walls has less effect on your cable.Sandy wrote: ↑17 Jul 2025, 10:32The DP cable I use has input lag. I can't identify the brand because it's an HDMI cable from a very old TV.Slender wrote: ↑17 Jul 2025, 11:53i dont know. share your hdmi cable.Sandy wrote: ↑17 Jul 2025, 11:11From a technical point of view, the delay of using optical fiber cable may be higher because there is an additional photoelectric signal conversion. That's not necessary. Just now it all came back. Yes, the input lag nightmare is back in full force. This means that everything I concluded was wrong. I'm very frustrated now.Slender wrote: ↑18 Jul 2025, 14:30photo itSandy wrote: ↑18 Jul 2025, 13:41I can't identify the brand because it's an HDMI cable from a very old TV.Slender wrote: ↑17 Jul 2025, 11:53i dont know. share your hdmi cable.Sandy wrote: ↑17 Jul 2025, 11:11

Every time I reconnect the HDMI cable, there is a short period of no input delay, but the delay returns soon. Also, what does electrical system mean?Slender wrote: ↑19 Jul 2025, 10:39disconnect that cable and take it 1-2d away, and recconect it.
what is your elec. system?
Re: Longstanding Floaty Aim Feel Issue Fixed with a Fiber Optic DisplayPort Cable...
When input lag occurs, it feels like the entire computer is in a state of miscalculation because the screen also tears. It seems that this is still related to the electricity.Slender wrote: ↑19 Jul 2025, 10:39disconnect that cable and take it 1-2d away, and recconect it.
