No FPS gaming possible

Separate area for niche lag issues including unexpected causes and/or electromagnetic interference (ECC = retransmits = lag). Interference (EMI, EMF) of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction latencies like a bad modem connection. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI. Please read this before entering sub-forum.

I suspect that in my case it is the timers (TSC / RTC) that are causing Desnyc.

Even though my BLCK is 100, the CPU clocks 0.0012Mhz higher than desired.
Nah don't mess with timers, it's not it.

I can't imagine my internet causing such problems because of a few packets and kbps?

45 packets per second @ download = max. 500 kbps
45 packets per second @ upload = max. 130 kbps

Any Nokia from the 90s can handle that. ;)

I think some timer is out of sync and causing problems. I have a Z690, and I've read about timer problems.

EDIT:

I also have a hint that it can't be the internet.

On my screen, I easily get 10 hits, but the game only shows me 4. The interesting thing is: even with C-hits (local), it's only 4.

If there were something wrong with the internet, I would expect:
C-hits = 10 (client)
S-hits = 4 (server)

But both are 4.

Don't tweak too much, go with standard settings for bios.
Disabled spread spectrum/enable expo/enable c-states(sometimes auto is bugged so you need to enable),disabled intergrated graphics, put Power Supply Idle Control to typical current idle and if needed put ur gpu pcie to gen4 or gen5(depends on what gpu you have).

Then you can search around in windows and see what causes it.

This is a good guide you can use.

Do you see packet loss in games ?
Used to have similar issues and it wasn't internet.

I can't disable spread spectrum on my Asus Z690.

Battlefield 2042 or Battlefield 6
- No packet loss (at any time)
- Ping = 12-15ms
- Jitter = up to 2ms
- No error messages

Gameplay:
- I'm not in the action, but in the past
- I need many more shots than others
- No hits from mid-range

Every PC is different, I can't tell you 100% what causes it.
Best thing you can do on windows is make sure you have high/ultimate power plan and good nvidia and ethernet settings.
Also enable MSI mode and set everything to undefined and make sure you have the right drivers for chipset/nvidia/ethernet/audio.

You don't need to mess with timers.

Having a good latencymon on w11 is harder than w10 but doable.
Latencymon looks good, don't worry about it.

Slender writes that Windows 11 uses an RTC. I've undone all Windows changes. The timer should now be RTC.

But why does the "BCLK TSC HW FIXUP" option affect my desync?

I'm sure it's my computer.

Yes, my ISP sometimes causes problems too, but these feel different.

Ye I saw the first post. I don't like revios but they ain't bad, I'd rather debloat a few things myself.

This problem is weird and can vary from being as single as bad display port or ram to literally anything.

My monitor broke a few months ago and it was causing insane delay but that's extremely unlucky to be the cause for example.
