Re: No FPS gaming possible
In Battlefield 2042 + 6, I'm having the problem that my bullets aren't reaching their target, and when they do, they don't do any damage.
The last few days have been like this: I join the game. I get 10-20 kills in the first few minutes, and then nothing happens.
Today it was like this: I join the game, and nothing works at all.
It may look good, but I've been bleeding for those kills. If I didn't have these problems, I would have gotten 200 kills.

77-12? You sure you have the issues? Already doing so much better than most of the lobby. Or has to be mild which I wish to have, I wouldn't be able to have a positive KD with this problemLaggyTyp wrote: ↑20 Aug 2025, 17:43In Battlefield 2042 + 6, I'm having the problem that my bullets aren't reaching their target, and when they do, they don't do any damage.

I tried it also. thought it helped for 5 mins but don't think so. Same issues. Got worse again after few mins.Ghosty_Ind wrote: ↑21 Aug 2025, 02:03@kriegsnake and @LaggyTyp - which CPU and GPU are you guys using ???
But i saw the "set time automatically" option gets toggled on after restart. Was it same for it? Follow yours. But not sure If Im doing something wrong?

Ghosty_Ind wrote: ↑20 Aug 2025, 13:25Ok, so I tested it, and you won't believe it, it FUCKING WORKED !!!!
Consistent headshots, running enemies headshots, Valorant feels good, Hitreg feels good in CS2, Valo and BF1. I cannot believe it was this silly.. Also, if this does not work, I am very very sorry, I know how much trouble this shit is and how petty we feel.
So going through your post, I saw something like BCLK TSC HW FIXUP and it fixed some of your problems. I turned it off and yes, it did make things smooth for me, but the desync stayed. I returned it back to the default setting and things got shitty again. I also saw your post where you mentioned that AI said your time is 7.16 something seconds behind the NTP. That's how I tried this method and it fucking worked for me...
So what I did is, and what I suggest you also do is to :
1. Revert all the settings back to default. All the dynamictick, plateformclock, or every other snake oil which you tried back to default.. Hell I would say reinstall your OS just to be sure those settings won't hinder the fix.
2. In the right bottom side of the screen where you see the time, right click and select Adjust Date and Time.
3. Before doing any change, I believe you have selected - Set Time Automatically. There is a button - Sync Now, just to align the time with whatever NTP shit is about to give you..Click on it and sync the time....
4. Now, Disable the option of - Select Time Zone Automatically and set it manually to your timezone. Now disable the option- SetTime automatically.
5. Set Date and Time Manually option will be enabled. Open it.
6. Just to be sure, pick your mobile in hand and wait for the minute to complete and move to next minute.
7. Once it moves, set your time to +1 to the current time. E.g. - Current time - 23:48, set it to 23:49 and see the changes reflect properly. I would say your system would pause for a minute, like a stuck window. That is what I believe are the pending packets which your processor ate and got busy.
(Just to explain Point 6 and 7 clearly as someone DM'ed me for not explaining it -
You have your time displayed on your phone - yes ?
Now let's say the computer time is - 23:48 which is around 11:48 night time. Your PC and mobile would be almost showing the same time.
So just to take the reference for setting time manually, you need a clock which is working properly right ? Hence, take your mobile in hand and keep checking the time. As soon as the Minute changes (48 to 49 or 49 to 50), add +1 to the minute and set it in your system. So in mobile and in your current timezone - the time let's say would be 11:50 PM, but on your PC, it should be set as 11:51 PM, which is like 1 minute ahead of your local clock...)
8. After doing this successfully, restart your PC and router both.
9. Start your gaming and report what you see !!! Fingers crossed, you will be in HEAVEN for god sake....
10. I also changed my C-State setting from Auto to Enabled, I if you have that option, do it !! I read somewhere that Auto is bugged, but didn't seem that relevant to me... But not taking any change, I would say to make it same as mine..
This is the fucking silly fixed that worked and I feel like I am the most happy person ever !!!! Thanks to you and your investigations, I was able to fix it. Also, don't believe 80% of what AI speaks, but since it is trained on internet data and hardware capabilities, trust it a little bit XD XD....
What I believe was happening was (Even if I am wrong, I am not a network engineer, but a software Engineer, so I have little idea but not the whole picture) - On our ethernets, there is a buffer queue, which will queue the packets or even store them. Based on receiving from the server with it's timestamp, it matches our Windows timestamp, and wait for it to match it to server timestamp when it was sent - some shit like this "could be" happening. This is all made up and if this is the case, it's totally fucked UP !! Hence the delay, and what we received as - "Normal spikes in our gameplay where everything went stable" is somehow that time or packets got delayed or server tick lagged or some shit due to which it seemed normal.
Now, the packets on client side will be read as soon as they come... Only this explanation made sense to me as to what was happening and what fixed.... If this fixes your Issue too @LaggyTyp, We would have found a big solution which would impact a lot of people getting this issue. Try it and let me know.
Peace out.... All the best.... May the force be with you !!!!!
Update - didn't exactly work...

Re: No FPS gaming possible
That should be your culprit then.. The windows shit is toggling it on somehow but don’t know why.. Mine is in manual mode even after multiple restarts/shutdowns and startupsMontyTheAverage wrote: ↑21 Aug 2025, 02:53I tried it also. thought it helped for 5 mins but don't think so. Same issues.
