This subforum is for advanced users only. This separate area is for niche or unexpected lag issues such as electromagnetic interference (EMI, EMF, electrical, radiofrequency, etc). Interference of all kinds (wired, wireless, external, internal, environment, bad component) can cause error-correction (ECC) latencies like a bad modem connection, except internally in a circuit. ECC = retransmits = lag. Troubleshooting may require university degree. Your lag issue is likely not EMI.

Holy s**t i fixed it!
After 3 years of searching through forums for a 'floaty' mouse fix, a 240Hz monitor not feeling smooth, being super blurry, and my PC overall being inconsistent, I finally found out what the issue was. We have a small TV antenna on our balcony. Yesterday, I just unplugged it from the power strip, and all of the issues above went away. I'm blown away that such a small antenna was causing so much interference that my PC, monitor, and mouse were literally unusable. It feels like I'm playing a completely different CS2 right now

Always hillarious to see threads like this. See you in few more days when the problem comes back. 1 day is not enough to come to any conclusions how people here haven't realized that dealing with this problem and still jumping to early conclusions is beyond me.

listening to stuff like EMF Protection Music: 741 Hz Vibration Frequency Healing Music on youtube seemingly fixes it too.....
although ill see for how long, i can literally see textures change in cs2, its like you can see my pc returning some of the missing data and frames. I hope we can fix whatever this is someday
