I'm the #1 Black Widow in Marvel Rivals, XLEK, and I can't figure out why the new ASUS XG27AQDPG OLED Monitor has worse clarity than my older 240hz BenQ.

Asus XG27AQDPG (2025)
1440P @ 500hz = blurry
1080P @ 500hz = blurry
1440P @ 240hz ELMB ON = blurry
1080P @ 240hz ELMB ON = blurry

BenQ XL2540K (2020)
1080P @ 240hz + Dyac (Dev Mode Combo/not in settings) = Clear

What I've checked:
I have already reset the new OLED monitor back to factory settings.
I made sure all the resolutions in Nvidia Control Panel were matching in the tests above.
I understand that I get more FPS on 1080p in-game versus 1440p, which is honestly pretty bad since I lose 100FPS and that bothers me more than the clarity but it doesn't make sense my TestUFO is blurry.

NEW 500hz ASUS OLED vs 240HZ BENQ. OLED BAD CLARITY?

You seem to be misunderstanding the behavior of sample & hold VS impulsed displaysXLEK wrote: ↑23 Aug 2025, 12:59I'm the #1 Black Widow in Marvel Rivals, XLEK, and I can't figure out why the new ASUS XG27AQDPG OLED Monitor has worse clarity than my older 240hz BenQ.

Because the sample (refresh) rate of OLED and your game's FPS is not good enough to get the eye-tracked motion clarity performance of your BenQ when you're 240+FPS @ 240Hz.
Refer to this topic: https://blurbusters.com/the-stroboscopi ... -displays/
To get anywhere near the eye-tracked performance of your BenQ (with DyAc enabled), you'd need to run your game at +1k FPS on a +1kHz OLED display.

Best widow is sora from latin América, but u are good Yes.
I bought oled and 600hz benq, so u dont have too.
Oled is faster and is darker, benq has advantage only in specific games as valorant and cs.
For hero shooter i recommend oled cause its well colorem and is really the fastest.
About motion clarity both are equally good, i think u are Just adapting
