Already tried all possible many things with HPET here and even on Motherboards where its hidden in Bios...

(There was even a Guy on this Forum who Nickname was Alexander i think and we both even modded our Bios on some other Forum and just to unlock everything possible that is hidden but with SCEWIN its much simple and does the same effect and changes i believe...lol.. )

But i have here even Asrock Motherboard (Intel) where dont need to unlock this HPET in Bios and it is already there as Option...

Yes System Performance drops very hard here and FPS but i think that has maybe something with Windows Version to do and Intel...Idk rly more and cant remeber...But if my memory dont fake then I had once good stable FPS but some lower with HPET ON and even with Intel System and on some Windows Version...can't rly remember more which that was

Like you too have high CPU usage from start on Intel Systems if you use /useplatformclock yes? And i noticed that Antimaleware Service start to use very much usage of that in Taskmanager...

But i have and own here only AMD System with GPU too and where HPET works stable with that and no matter at what Windows Version but just some lower FPS performance too and if compare to OFF...but still no much improvement about my Online Gaming and Hitreg and Desync feel rly...

And my Ping was always exact same around 30ms and on mobile internet too no changes I believe and I dont and never noticed any such Latency crazy improvents like You do and have to Server and with HPET...and with all that what i already tried with HPET and different Systems...

I have here o2 with router and 4g but no difference at all and still bad everything...


I tried many things already with mobile Internet and still no solution to my problems...


the ping is very good and stable with this but experience is same like with DSL and fritzbox...


also bad and exact same...no improvement

it really depends on the hardware you use + ISP antennas + geographical place, might help, might not, worth to check out both 4 and 5g

Someone claims it should say 00-00 0:0 If it says something else, you have Peket delay, etc.

I've looked at old videos and screenshots, and I'm sure I know what's going wrong.

On rounds or days when things are going well, the download and upload bars (e.g., in BF2042) look the same. Sometimes you can't tell that there are two lines. Those are the good days. It's perfect when the lines are straight.

On bad days and rounds, the upload bar is much higher and then also has jitter. The packets from the game server reach me demonstrably faster than my packets reach the game server.

There's a discrepancy between download and upload.

It's like watching a movie where the video and audio no longer match (are out of sync).

I learned that there's only one upload channel for my DOCSIS connection. This channel is bandwidth-limited and, as is typical with DOCSIS, also susceptible to interference, etc.

In my case, it's 1000000000000000000000000% the ISP, and I have to cancel my contract immediately. There's no solution here.

As soon as the upload channel shows signs of overload again, something is done to disguise it so it looks better (cosmetic). Packets are bundled on the hardware side to reduce the load on the system.

I'm no longer looking for a solution.

I play counter strike a lot. My gaming experience was similar to yours for the last years. Enemies ferrari peeking me, getting headshoted without enemies stopping on my screen, losing every single aim duel despite shooting/spraying first. I even couldn't peek anymore because my bullets seemed to vanish into thin air. People playing like bots always got the better of me. It was fine with other games (RTS like SC2 or RPG hack n slash) but playing shooters just felt awful.

I also have a cable/docsis connection. Everything perfect at speettests and the waveform-bufflerbloat site, bufferbloat A+, no packet loss, full bandwith at all times, ping 10-20ms, no jitter.

So 2 weeks ago, after reading a a bit about cable/docsis technology (beeing a shard medium and so on) I decided - as a last resort - to try VDSL, despite everybody saying its much worse than cable.

Last week the tech-guy from the ISP was at my place installing the outlet and connecting the modem.

And what can I say, it's day and night. I still can't believe i played like this the last years. Bullets are now connecting, the game feels not desynced anymore, it feels instant. I don't need to spray 12-15 bullets into an enemy and hope he dies. I can't even describe how good the game feels now. When I loose a duel now I know it was my fault and not wanting to rip the keyboard to shreds because people are not dying and me shooting where enemies are on my screen, but the server sees a different game.

Another thing I noticed is if you turn on telemetry in cs2 where you can see the up and down jitter graph, it is now nearly flatlined at 1ms on the down graph sometimes I barely see a green line, and 1-2ms at the up graph. Before on my docsis connection it was always between 12 and 19. Sometimes even over the line (20ms). The desync ingame felt even more like 200-250ms. I am pretty sure there is some buffering going on somewhere on the docsis connection.

I kept the docsis connection for my family (streaming, surfing, playing switch or xbox) and my PC is on the VDSL connection exclusivley.

I wasn't so happy playing games for a long time.

I hope the ISP change solves the problem for you too.
