Need 240Hz+ gaming monitor <$1,300

High Hz on OLED produce excellent strobeless motion blur reduction with fast GtG pixel response. It is easier to tell apart 60Hz vs 120Hz vs 240Hz on OLED than LCD, and more visible to mainstream. Includes WOLED and QD-OLED displays.

Need 240Hz+ gaming monitor <$1,300

Hey everyone, I’m Skyler and new around here. I’ve been daily-driving an OLED monitor for a while now and absolutely love the deep blacks, the insane GtG response, and how much easier it is to tell the jump from 60Hz to 120Hz to 240Hz compared to LCD. I went with OLED originally because I wanted the clearest strobeless motion without having to deal with strobing artifacts, and between WOLED and QD-OLED I’ve had a taste of what both can offer, wide color gamut and bright HDR pops on QD-OLED, and that rich contrast and uniform blacks on WOLED. But lately I’ve been running into a few things pushing me toward an upgrade: slight retention creeping in during long sessions, HDR that doesn’t quite hold up in brighter rooms, and my itch for something with higher refresh plus better ergonomics and ports. I’m working with a budget around $1000 and I’d love to hear what OLEDs you all recommend for gaming first and foremost, but also for a mix of movies and productivity, especially if there are models with good burn-in mitigation and reliable warranties.

Highly recommend AOC AGON PRO AG276QZD2 if you want the most fast 2k OLED, the best gaming display in my experience.
