my NIC seems to disconnect randomly. Ive checked Router logs, connection was and is stable so i guess its the NIC itself.
Dosnt matter if idle or load (gaming).
Currently im using latest driver from the asus page (Realtek LAN Driver V1126.21.901.2024 for Windows 11.(WHQL) "https://rog.asus.com/de/motherboards/ro ... _download/"
All power saving features (EEE) are disabled.
Fresh OS running 25h2 (had this issue also with 23h2).
Windows event log also showed nothing related to the NIC failing.
Ive read online that other users also have issues with this Realtek NIC. Seems there are all related to power saving features but im toggeling those off anyway. I also have PCIe power saving feature disabled in bios. Maybe there is a setting ive missed ?
I do like this mainbaord but this issue is driving me crazy. Buying antoher x870e mainbaord seems pointless cuz there mostly running this onbaord NIC.
So far ive only tested W10 and W11 driver directy from asus website. Any of u know if the driver provided by Realtek ll fix this isssue ?
Should be best practice to go for the mainbaord vendor driver but fails to often.
"https://www.realtek.com/Download/List?c ... ltekanyway."
Any advice on how to solve this would be great.
thanks
