Trying to overclock my Dell S2721HGF Gaming Monitor 1080p 144hz

Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.

So i just found out that my monitor can handle pretty high refresh rates (for example my AIO that had 60hz now has 105hz without artifacting) is locked by my firmware. Trying to go past 144Hz just makes my monitor reject it (even though it could support it)... I have a Ryzen 7 1700, RX 580 and 16 gigs of DDR4.

Can I unlock the firmware or try to go past it?
