I've disabled GSYNC in the control panel and switch on ULMB on the monitor options, but as soon as a game is loaded the monitor is back in gsync mode. The monitors OSD confirms it "ULMB not possible in GSYNC mode". I've tried COD AW and Bioshock Infinite.
Gsync was unchecked on the GSYNC panel and the Manage 3D settings portion of Nvidia control panel. Also tried setting individual profile with those disabled but didn't help. It seems like you uncheck it and then change tabs, and then its rechecked again.
I will add that in G-Sync the UFO test doesn't look that clear compared to my old BenQ in lightboost mode. Games look "ok" but I think some motion blur is still there.

Alright well if no one has any ideas I think I'm just going to sell it or return it.
My BenQ looks better in ULMB than this monitor in G-Sync.

Have you tried a clean install of the drivers? It's odd that G-Sync re-enables like that. Also, ULMB only works in 85, 100, and 120HZ modes.

Yes I've reinstalled. ULMB works on the desktop and the UFO test looks great but as soon as you enter a game the brightness increases and the monitor comfirms its in GSYNC mode.
