Pendulum Demo Behavior

Does anyone notice the pendulum demo wigging out if you move the mouse? It has to be in G-Sync mode with a sub-60fps framerate setting (at least on my 60Hz monitor. Perfectly smooth until you move the cursor. Why is that?
