People with input lag; What GPU do you have?

Everything about latency. This section is mainly user/consumer discussion. (Peer-reviewed scientific discussion should go in Laboratory section). Tips, mouse lag, display lag, game engine lag, network lag, whole input lag chain, VSYNC OFF vs VSYNC ON, and more! Input Lag Articles on Blur Busters.

Hello fellow input laggers, I've had input lag for 5-6 years now, changed pc parts sporadically, etc, problem still persistent.
Over time I've bought new monitors with increasing refresh rate, bought stronger cpu & gpus, pushed my max framerate in game (CSGO/CS2) even higher...

The latency has been reduced, but the persisent low hz feeling, floaty mouse, variable input lag has always been persistent. Something I've thought about is the fact that for CSGO/CS2/Valorant, my games have always been GPU bound when I uncap my FPS. I've been capping the FPS to a value the game can hold reasonably consistently, but during complex graphical/computational situations (lets say HE grenade blowing up a smoke in CS2 or multiple ults/abilities on a valorant execute round) i still think my GPU is peaking out in rendering situations (multirendering maybe?) for very tiny amounts of time, so small that it might not show as 100% but some value close to it (i see 80-95% sometimes in software like nv frameview, msi afterburner, e.t.c.) possibly altering the render queue, or making the game microstutter, etc?

I know nvidia reflex exists, but that still allows render queues to exist, just that they are updated dynamically, and LLM (lowlatencymode) in nvidia control panel isn't always honored by game engines, according to what i read online at least (and it certainly feels that way in game)

My question to you; do any of you have a strong graphics card, lets say RTX 5070 ti, RTX xx80, RTX xx90 series GPU with a capped framerate (or uncapped if you have a really strong GPU such that gpu bound scenarios are basically impossible in your game (cs2/valo) with your specific graphical settings) such that your system is reasonably never GPU bottlenecked AND you suffer from input lag problems like variable input delay?

For reference/anyone curious; I have a 3060 ti w 7800x3d, fps max 400, 360hz monitor. Fps drops in complex situations to like 330 at max but GPU never shows 100%.
i have i7-14700kf,zotac 4070Ti trinity OC ,Input lag is driving me crazy

I've had it over my last 4 builds, which were nvidia gtx670, amd r9 390, nvidia 1080ti, and currently amd 7900XTX and It's not really an input lag problem though and I wish people would stop calling it input lag. To me it feels like I'm pushing my mouse around rather than it just obeying my input. Input lag feels like you're pulling your mouse around. It kind of feels like acceleration where there is none.

Every single one of my mouse movements feels like its ahead for flicks, and behind for small adjustments, so i overaim pretty much the exact same amount with every flick, but for micro adjustments and tracking it feels like my mouse isn't moving fast enough.....but latency wise, the initial movement has no latency.

EDIT: I had no issues on the gtx670, the issue for me started in 2015 overnight specifically in July and hasn't gone away since. That's when I had the r9 390.

Hi , have you tried recent & modern wireless mouses with really low latency click? as for example asus rog keris II . my g403 with wire (tried g403 hero and g703 same problem they must have the same basic architecture )often had the problems you are saying , sometime it was fine sometime heavy & hit register not happening but keris II origin is like night and day.in some games i couldn't hit with g403 so i plugged the keris and i was killing every one so easily from zero to hero.
I understood i suffered from 2 problems combined for years , the mouse plus the isp. Now i only have isp problem which can't be resolved where i live i tested every isp + starlink
