Playin games on my setup has always been torture to my eyes
Decided to experiment a bit with my camera and made some shots of my monitor to take a closer look at the tearing
all shots taken with 1/60 shutter speed

one is the tearing with a 60fps lock and the other on a 70fps lock with rtss
shouldnt there be 1 tear line for every scan? or is this just normal tearing?

Maybe your camera is picking up multiple frames. Set your camera's exposure time to it's minimum. If that makes the photo too dark, increase the monitor's brightness. The perfect exposure time for photographing a 60Hz screen would be 16ms.
Or, if you have a video camera that can capture at 60FPS, then use that instead and record a 60FPS video.

Asus PG278Q with G-sync enabled brings smooth gameplay without Tearing, so they say. As the video shows (Link below), the red-light "g-sync light" is glowing as expected when turned on. There is NO screen-tearing across the screen EXCEPT in the top on the screen. In the video, look at the top of the screen, exactly under the screen bezzel to witness what I'm talking about. I get ONE long screen tear across the entire panel. Once you start noticeing it, it's impossible to not notice it in all games which prevents you from having a good gameplay experience. Let me know if this is something you've experienced.

Stationary tearlines is definitely something I have experienced.
Some games will render multiple frames quickly, so if frametimes is less than max-Hz refreshtime, you can have multiple tearlines in the same refresh cycle, even with G-SYNC (if using G-SYNC + VSYNC OFF). Framerate caps are often an average, so games are often very hugely preoblematic.
Try this:
1. Reinstall drivers
2. Reset all driver settings to default
3. RTSS cap of 3fps below max Hz
4. NVIDIA Control Panel, use "G-SYNC" + "VSYNC ON"
5. Game settings, use 'VSYNC OFF"
This driver-vs-game opposing setting should help fix your tearing problem, while giving you beautiful G-SYNC goodness.

Looks like normal screen tearing to me — your camera might be capturing multiple frames during the scan, which can make it look like more tear lines than there actually are. Using V‑Sync or a high refresh rate monitor usually helps reduce this.
