How to set lg c1 run at 60hz bfi for 60fps >60hz input?
Hi
The native refresh rate of c1 is 120hz
If i outout pc at 60hz from gpu running 60fps limited game
How to force c1 slow down to 60hz plus motion oled pro high bfi?

At 50/60hz, You can only do Motion Pro High. Or at least only that without double-image artifacts.
Auto, Low and Medium only strobe at 100/120hz.
A combination of 120hz Motion Pro (at any setting) + ShaderBeam (2 sub-frames for 60fps content) can potentially look great, since you have enough tools at your disposal to strike the best motion/brightness balance for your content.
Edit: You mean you're having trouble setting the PC output to 60hz?
Maybe it's driver related or something? On my (outdated) NVidia control panel, I know that 60hz is in the top category or resolutions (Ultra HD, HD, SD) and the 120hz mode is buried lower in the "PC" category.

Do they play 30fps lock ps4 ps3 game well motion clarity with no double image?
Or choose modern dlp projector for 30fps lock 60hz output signal

You can. It then flickers with 60 Hz and you get great motion clarity. But you'd also skip every second frame from your 120 fps input. For best input lag and less flicker for your eyes I'd recommend using Motion Pro Medium. I'm not entirely sure but I think Medium at 120 fps has little more persistence (less motion clarity) than High at 60 fps.derekchan wrote: ↑01 Jan 2026, 10:59HiJimProfit wrote: ↑30 Dec 2025, 20:50At 50/60hz, You can only do Motion Pro High. Should go with high bfi for 120hz input?
if input 60hz to c1 plus high bfi, does panel refresh 60frame per time ? if input 120hz the panel refresh 120frame per time right?
because digital display has fixed refresh cycle like input 24hz to 120hz tv, 24 will multiply 5 to 120 to match the native hz.
Why does high bfi not good for 120hz input ? high bfi is faster motion than medium.
2.if i display has maximum 175hz refresh rate for displayport input but 120hz for hdmi input
how does 120hz match the native 175hz?
does it similiar with 60hz mode 120hz mode on c1?
3.if a specsheet of display doesn't feature 1080p 24hz but 1080p 120hz
is it good for playback 23.976p video? because 120hz is not equal to 119.88hz
for displayport it feature 3440x1440 119.99hz though

may i ask why a lot of side scroller lock 60fps with v sync off,but render 120fps maxium display refresh hz with v sync on ?

Re: How to set lg c1 run at 60hz bfi for 60fps >60hz input?
1. Depends on what you mean by panel refresh. Actually in your 60 fps input with BFI high the panel refreshes 120 times per second: 60 times the pixel update from your input frame and another 60 times to disable the pixels around 3 ms after their last update, so you get about 3 ms persistence. With 120 fps input and Medium its equivalent: 120 updates per second due to your input frames and another 120 updates to disable the pixels.derekchan wrote: ↑02 Jan 2026, 01:56can i ask thank youBaron of Sun wrote: ↑01 Jan 2026, 14:39You can. BFI High on 120 fps input is fine if the 60 Hz flicker of BFI does not disturb you. Test it out and you will see. My brain accommodates quite well to the 60 Hz flicker.
2. I don't know which display with 175 Hz you are talking about, but it might be possible it has a 120 Hz mode that activates when it receives a 120 fps input. It's the same with the C1 which can display 50 Hz content as well.
3. If the spec sheet doesn't list 23.976 Hz, I'd assume some frames are just dropped after some time, but I don't know. And even if the display supports 1080p at 120 Hz, it is not guaranteed that it renders 24 Hz correctly by doing 5:5 pulldown. Not every display supports that. It is common for consumer televisions (at least high end) afaik, but it might be different with monitors because their use case typically is not watching movies.

The panel refresh 60 frame per time,he use slow motion camera which capture that. just like old oled tv back in 2014 only feature 60hz 1080p plus true 60hz bfi
Blurbuster law strobe signal should be 60fps rendered output as 60hz to tv.
The c1 switch its refresh rate down to 60hz,then process
Blavk frame insertion,Just like shifting gears with a manual clutch
