BenQ XL2411P screen overclock

Talk about overclocking displays at a higher refresh rate. This includes homebrew, 165Hz, QNIX, Catleap, Overlord Tempest, SEIKI displays, certain HDTVs, and other overclockable displays.

BenQ XL2411P screen overclock

Post by Luci05 » 18 Jan 2026, 01:36

Hello, how are you?

I have been reading several topics about monitor overclocking, specifically for the **BenQ Zowie XL2411P**, and I found a lot of different information.

I made some attempts, but they did not work as expected. I managed to set the monitor to **200Hz** using some configurations from this thread:
viewtopic.php?t=8435

The monitor displays an image, but it appears **out of scale or incomplete**, as if the signal is not properly synchronized or as if the cable is disconnected. I used some applications like OORBuster.exe, but it was the same result.

In short, I am here to ask for your help to achieve a **working and stable overclock** on this monitor.

Any guidance, timing suggestions, or step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated.

I saw that in some topics the monitor's FW version is mentioned.

Well, I ran some tests again at 200Hz, running OorBusterX64.exe, OorBuster.exe, and AntiOutOfRange, everything went fine, but I still keep getting the out of range message, and then the monitor goes black ... I left some photos; if anyone can help in any way, I would be grateful.

Maxinator500 Thanks for the message.

I can’t reply to PMs yet due to forum restrictions, so I’m answering here. :(
I already have the V3 firmware, which I downloaded from your Git profile.

However, I have never done this kind of firmware flashing before.
Could you please explain the flashing process step by step (connection, OS, tools, and precautions)?

I want to make sure I do everything correctly and avoid any risk of bricking the monitor.
Thanks in advance.

I will, but not here. All the necessary information is already laying around somewhere here on the forum, so I don't think it's a good idea to make another copypasta which gonna confuse you even more.
