offering a $200 reward to anyone who can solve my Valorant issue.

Everything about latency. This section is mainly user/consumer discussion. (Peer-reviewed scientific discussion should go in Laboratory section). Tips, mouse lag, display lag, game engine lag, network lag, whole input lag chain, VSYNC OFF vs VSYNC ON, and more! Input Lag Articles on Blur Busters.

Have u tried different servers?

On my alt i play on eu tokyo (70 ms) and its horrendous most of the time, struggling in diamond lobbies, unless i play scope/vandal/stinger.

Yet im an immortal player on my main because here i play on stockholm and despite higher ping (around 100 ms) its about 20% more playable.

Yesterday my ISP was (probably) updating its dpi hardware mid game and i my ping was floating around 120-160 ms, but the game was just fine. I suggest you to try manipulating your latency.

Maybe that can sound easy but basic routers what most providers offers are bad , if you have money to spend buy good one (qos) , check memory ram profile ( if you use standard profile xmp/expo) in my case ddr4 xmp profile was bad so i must tweak that manual and as far i can say is a little better now.
Edit my mobo have Realtek nic and i had bad feelings when play online do i give shoot and i buy Intel i210-t1

If you've tried 4 different systems and 2 different ISP, I think you need to come to terms with you're not as good as you once were, or think you currently are.

It's very hard to maintain high ranks in games, as the top players are usually grinding the games like a full time job every day of the week. If you're not doing the same, don't expect to compete at that level anymore, unless you're very naturally gifted. And there's always newer and younger players constantly coming out joining the mix.

Unless you dropped from top 20 to bronze rank, sounds like your skill/dedication dropped more than some mysterious ghost ruining your PC setups.

And my advice to people reading this, think twice before wasting your time on these type of reward threads. This guy essentially wants you to waste hours of your time for free and only pay if his "problem" is "solved". I got sucked into one of these "reward to fix" on Reddit a long time ago and knew exactly how to fix a much simpler problem the user was having. Told them the fix, ghosted with no replies afterwards. Granted it was only $20 and a few minutes of time.
Sorry to hear about your terrible experiences. At first, I questioned myself—whether I’m just too old for FPS games or simply bad at the game right now. After playing at my buddy’s place, I instantly realized there’s some kind of issue at my place or with my hardware. I was matching MVPs, 7 in a row, in Ascendant and Immortal lobbies there, but I can’t win games in Gold or Plat at my own place.
I’m not saying I deserve that rank—I’m just a guy who wants a better gaming experience. It’s one of the things I do to remember my girlfriend who passed away… we used to play VALORANT together.
That's unfortunate, my condolences to you.

If you want serious help, I suggest you head over to Fiver and hire a person with good reviews in PC Gaming/Latency category to help you track down your issue. Nobody with expertise to fix such a complex issue you describe wants to waste hours of troubleshooting with the possibility of not getting paid.

To me, the sound of your issue sounds like you, not the systems or internet based on what you've written, but I'm only making an assumption based on the very limited info you provided. You say you have 0.5 second - 1 second of delay. That converts to 500ms-1000ms of lag whether it be your display, network, mouse, keyboard, rig, etc. Imagine playing with a monitor at 2hz refresh rate or with a ping of 500ms-1000ms, etc - that's essentially what you're describing. With that type of delay, you would be lucky to get into higher tier bronze ranks in competitive games.

You also say you tried different ISP, but don't mention if you tried bypassing router and going direct from modem to PC, which should be one of your first troubleshooting steps before buying another ISP subscription.

Best of luck.
Fiver is a good shout tbh, I didn't think of that. The delay I am assuming is entirely display (I suffer with the same problem), it isn't input delay or ping/packet loss lag. It just feels like we are constantly behind what is currently happening on the server. Which I know everyone is to an extent, but it's insane how much behind we are. In CQCB games even, I can get hit from so far away, yet on their screen they were right on top of me. But when I try get in close, I still get absolutely ranged. When I do get a kill, it looks perfectly normal on their screen. Also, my ping is usually like 10-20ms (server dependent). I hope this helps clear up some more of the issue.

Also, I have tried Direct connection from ONT to PC and it did nothing.

I had a feeling they would say things are fine. Latency in itself usually means fps/input lag/ping/packet loss etc etc. Idk wtf this type of latency is but its fkin annoying.

It’s really noticeable on games with aim assist because the bubble will stick to/slow down on a desync’d hitbox when the target is moving.

What I will add is I will sometimes (I can count on one hand over the past 4 years) have what I call a “good boot” where it’s almost the opposite and I feel like I’m ahead of the server. The weird thing is it’ll last until I restart or shut down my pc. The last time it happened I refused to shut down, and it lasted two months until a storm knocked the power out. Soon as I booted back up it was a desynced nightmare again. Literal night and day difference, but I never could figure out the difference between windows sessions.

I’m a former immo 3 player. Ever since this issue started, my rank has dropped drastically.

I don’t care about mouse feel or peripherals anymore — I just want this fixed.
It feels like I’m always 0.5 to 1 second behind the server.
When I see an enemy, I literally have no time to react.

I’ve tried:
UPS
EMI/RFI filters
Countless PC and system tweaks
None of them helped.
I’ve tested:
2 different ISPs
4 different PCs

The issue persists across all of them.
If you can actually solve this problem, I’m offering a $200 reward.

Could be a bufferbloat issue. Check your bufferbloat rating (dslreports could do this back in the day not sure if they still can. The rating should be A+ if its not get a router with a good routing protocol. I use the Cake protocol but you need a small pc as a router to run that) i started with the follwong router to get a A+ bufferbloat ranking. https://youtu.be/o-g2P3R84dw?si=qxpxzSlpRdoKhzfO make sure to check the video it handels the bufferbloat issue very nice. I eventually switched to the cake protocol cause with cake you have more bandwith to download movies etc.
