Input lag "hack" for Zowie monitor users

Post by Hyote » 18 Feb 2026, 17:21

I began noticing this thing I'm going to write about some time ago there are probably posts about it as well but even using display scaled resolutions, those like 1024x768 or 800x600 remain very blurry. I use the Gamer 1 profile on my XL2546 and if I go to the profiles tab, switch to FPS 1 for example and switch back to Gamer 1, the whole screen becomes 1. very sharp 2. very pixelated. I'm not sure if the scaling mode changes which should not be possible, especially because for me GPU scaled resolutions are the blurriest while display scaled ones look bearable but this one is noticeably different and stays like that until another resolution change or screen reset happens. I am posting this because lower input latency comes with the added visual clarity as well. Still I'm in the dark with this one top but I hope others can test it too.

I have same monitor but i dont understand how those people uses 1280x1024 or 1280x960 while it does supported by the monitor(I mean when i choose them output become main resolution like we do in cru). Those resolutions become garbage like its 640x480 i cant see shit.

Because the game I play has lower recoil on lower resolutoions. This is not placebo but a bug.

I've been using this but for 2 years. It was same at csgo too. But i dont use it anymore cuz long range is too pixaleted.

try setting same res in windows, it's fixes for me ugly image on 1280x960. with same resolution in windows + windowed mode in cs it's perfect.

best settings for me as well on screenshot.
