Yeah that looks interesting, only thing is whether it's down to the desync or whatever this is called, or something else that might be CS2 related. I kind of just wish there was an answer that is causing all these issues. Just seems no matter what I do to try fix it, nothing works. Different ISP, Ethernet, Wireless, Different PC/Laptop, nothing seems to fix it. It's so frustrating.

I have the same problem for some years. I played top ranks in Valorant and CS, but since I moved, everything has gone downhill. I just got perfect FTTH internet, 4 ms pings to Valorant, etc., but the feeling still persists. It's like I kill the enemy instantly, or I die instantly. When I spectate my teammates, the enemies look like bots. really frustrating since I tried so much stuff. It's funny, but when I got a 3600x CPU a few years ago, my Valorant experience was quite good, and I ranked up very high without many issues. So maybe it's a mix between higher hardware and electrical incompatibility.

When I watch streamers, I'm always surprised by how slowly the opponents peek. That's the best way to tell that something's wrong.

You're exactly right, watching streamers and youtubers regardless of what hardware they run, it's nuts how different their games play out compared to ours. I'm not even sure if it's down to electrics since laptops on battery also have the same issues except the lucky few I've had. I'm just hoping there is going to be a fix at some point cause it's really annoying.

Your problem might be your processor. 2.5ghz sustained clock speeds is really low. The 4.5 "boost clock" is meaningless because it only "boosts" for a short period then drops back down to 2.5ghz. "Theoretically" your processor will get you at best 4ms frametimes. Theoretically meaning if we only consider the game being handled by your CPU. Which is not the case in real world conditions. Your CPU has to also handle background processes, system processes, hardware interrupts, network packets, drivers, etc. So that makes it more like around 10ms - 12ms frametimes.

A good CPU plays a huge role in your end to end system latency. I think your CPU might be your problem. You mentioned you had better performance with a 3600x. Which has better sustained clock speeds at 3.8ghz and 4.4ghz boost. Compared to the "I5-12400F" which is 2.5ghz sustained, with 4.5ghz boost.
