ROG Strix XG248QSG Ace Discussion

Ask about motion blur reduction in gaming monitors. Includes ULMB (Ultra Low Motion Blur), NVIDIA LightBoost, ASUS ELMB, BenQ/Zowie DyAc, ToastyX, black frame insertion (BFI), and now framerate-based motion blur reduction (framegen / LSS / etc).

ROG Strix XG248QSG Ace Discussion

Can someone break down this monitor? For some reason I am having a terrible time trying to find the correct information I want on this monitor. There are barely any posts even on this forum about it.

ELMB 2 = Is this ULMB 2 with just Asus naming it something else? Or is ELMB 2 actually something completely different? If so, how is it different from ULMB

ELMB-Sync = What is this? Is this the same as Nvidia Pulsar? Is this using ELMB 1 or ELMB 2?

Is there any information if ELMB 2 is better than Nvidia Pulsar when it comes to clarity?

ELMB SYNC is useless, makes no difference, i tried adjusting the fps, in smoothfrog, it just gets blurry below max hz, elmb2 has 5 levels, 5 is the best, but darker, pure speed, its slightly faster than zowie, its strobing is alright at 610-360hz, but it begins to fall off, 240hz is alright, but i find zowie is just better, a higher oled like 500hz-540hz will be faster than all in terms of input lag, elmb2 is asus strobing, i guess they didnt want to pay nvidia for the licensing/cost, i would probably get pg248qp over this monitor
