Blur Busters Strobe Utility for XL2540K
I recently purchased a Zowie 2540k, 240Hz monitor. I learned that Blur Busters is a worthwhile program and I'm looking for the best settings for my monitor. Could someone explain how to use it, or what the best settings are for image clarity? Perhaps there are other options to best configure this monitor? Any valuable information would be appreciated. Best regards

That particular model is one of the few MBR (non-DyAc) models that BenQ has for sale. This implies that the voltage boosting capabilities & perhaps crosstalk behavior will be worse than DyAc 1/+/2 capable models.wainochase wrote: ↑29 Mar 2026, 22:03I recently purchased a Zowie 2540k, 240Hz monitor. You can only access the strobing capabilities using VCP commands, which the Blurbusters Utility acts as a front-end for (akin to softMCCS)
The single-strobe range of the post XL24-- models is 100–240/360 Hz
I'd greatly appreciate if you could record some high-speed (1920, 2880, 3840 px/s) testUFO photographs with a smartphone so that there's public info on how the monitor performs on different refresh rate (100, 120, 240 should be sufficient) & persistence values.

I just open it and put it on, thats my settings for it... and then I go to the monitor and do brightness 100 (should already be) and then contrast as high it's needed to get it as bright as I want it. You can tweak gamma and game gamma if it doesn't get bright enough.wainochase wrote: ↑29 Mar 2026, 22:03I recently purchased a Zowie 2540k, 240Hz monitor.
