Everything about latency. This section is mainly user/consumer discussion. (Peer-reviewed scientific discussion should go in Laboratory section). Tips, mouse lag, display lag, game engine lag, network lag, whole input lag chain, VSYNC OFF vs VSYNC ON, and more! Input Lag Articles on Blur Busters.

That's a weird thing to ask. I don't know but there should be less resource usage, especially with around 80% of the dwm threads disabled.

Code: Select all

dwm.exe, 13440, 0.13, 0.33, 12.19 kB/s, 105.46 MB, 488.61 MB, 6.62 MB, Window Manager\DWM-2, Desktop Window Manager, 3,319,612,551
csrss.exe, 13252, , 0.26, , 3.3 MB, 50.62 MB, 63.33 MB, NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM, Client Server Runtime Process, 936,114,931

after logoff

Server 2025 do better dwm.exe - 360mb - vram
win11 - DWM.exe 488.61 MB - vram

So you think the cause of the problem is Windows?

No, but the difference a tweaked Windows can make is night and day. I don't deny EMI being an important factor, it just kind of doesn't matter for me anymore as my system is properly set up, so the effects of EMI are very minimal.
