Accidentally got my MSI 272qrf x36 only yesterday, cause my local store send me the wrong monitor 2 days in a row, and i got it on a 3d day.
So, monitor comes in perfect condition, 0 dead pixels, 0 fingerprints, all cables are here( even micro usb for fw update).
After update fw and trying in pubg what can i say, the motion is nearly perfect, without any crosstalk and any ghosting, testing only pulsar, today mb ill test the ulmb2 mode.
Trying the 60hz mode and on white and some other backgrounds flickering is very noticeable, idk ( in pulsar mode is a zero flickering in every situation, u can barely see it only throughout the camera), and i can't change the power or overdrive for 60hz ulmb. Idk why. When I'm set it on, overdrive button is just grayed out.
Trying to watch some video with 60hz ulmb and cause of flickering it's hard to, just only set pulsar + 360hz + loseless scaling ( vsync on ) on 360fps ( fixed rate) and every video that u will watch is supersmooth now, try it.
With pulsar in pubg, I'm try the gsyncON+vsyncON+ullm ultra ON( nvcp ) - fps caps to 327. Trying the gsyncON-vsyncOFF-ullm on( nvcp just on, not ultra )+framecap 349-350( trying some others numbers like 319-327 ).
And i think the best motion clarity and lowest latency is gsyncON-vsyncOFF-ullm ON-framecap(349-350).
The monitor itself, after 4-5 hours of game + testing was just slightly warm, not even hot, but relatively power hunger, my last zowie xl2735 on desktop eating just 20-25w, this pulsar is eating about 40w on desktop, on game it's about 65w i think, is coming closely to OLED monitors for consumption.
And lastly, in a monitor called esports, there is a shadow boost, color vibrance and low blue light settings, but don't have a sharpness settings at all, i like slightly sharp image in a windows or movies, and here i miss this. Matte coating is way better than my last old zowie, it's close to glare i think.
